📣 WE’RE HIRING – TWO VACANCIES AVAILABLE!

We’re looking for two Casual Funeral Service Operatives to join our friendly team at Ernest Brigham Funeral Directors in Bridlington.

This is a flexible, casual role supporting our team in providing a professional, compassionate and dignified service to local families.

No previous funeral industry experience is required – full training and uniform will be provided.

The role includes supporting our Funeral Directors at funeral services, bearing coffins, preparing for services, driving our specialist vehicles and helping us maintain the high standards of care our families expect.

Please note that being part of our out-of-hours on-call rota is an essential requirement of the role. This involves:

🌙 One night on call each week
đź“… One weekend on call in every four

Applicants therefore need to be comfortable with the flexibility and responsibility that comes with providing an out-of-hours funeral service.

đź’· ÂŁ13.40 per hour
⏰ Casual/flexible working
đźš— Full UK driving licence required

Beloved wife of the late Pete, much-loved mum, mum-in-law, gran & great-gran to many.

Known to many as the former landlady of The Cosy Corner/The Coachman and the greengrocer at 149 Marton Road, Bridlington. She had lived in Bempton since 1980.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral, but please raise a glass of Cinzano and lemonade in her honour.
