🍽️ Menu Tasting Session at Marton Gate Manor 🍽️

Today at lunchtime, we held a special menu tasting session at Marton Gate Manor as we prepare to introduce our new seasonal menu in the coming weeks 🍂

Residents, families and members of our team all got involved, tasting a variety of dishes and sharing their thoughts and feedback along the way. We wanted to make sure everyone had the opportunity to have their say on the meals they would like to see on the menu.

Our Head Chef, Nick, also joined residents in the dining room afterwards to chat about the dishes and hear their feedback.

We were pleased to be able to cater for all dietary requirements, ensuring everyone could take part and enjoy the session. ❤️

The session was a great success and, most importantly, it gave our residents the opportunity to have a real say in the food choices in their own home.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their feedback, your opinions really do help us shape our menus around the people who matter most 👨🏻‍🍳🍽️💬

We are just over halfway our Walk 30 Miles for Dementia in aid of Dementia UK

So far we have walked 64.83 miles !

Thank you to everybody that has laced up their trainers and is taking part. You have all done amazing and there is no doubt we will be adding a few more miles before the end of September! ⭐️

A huge thank you to anybody who has supported and donated to this wonderful cause. Your donations will go towards supporting a wonderful charity who help those affected by dementia

☕💚 We’re joining in with Macmillan Coffee Morning – with a little twist! 💚☕

On Wednesday 16th September, we’ll be bringing everyone together at Marton Gate Manor to enjoy a cuppa, some homemade cakes and a chat, all while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

We’re joining in with this fantastic fundraiser, but ours will be taking place in the afternoon at 2pm – so whether you’re an early bird or not, there’s still time to join us! ☕🍰

This week we hosted a baby shower for our wonderful head of house keeping Beth Hyde🩷

We had lots fun, games and laughter 😊

Beth makes sure our home is kept looking clean and fantastic for our residents, staff and visitors

We want to wish Beth the best of luck she is going to be an amazing mum and baby girls adopted grans, grandpas, aunts and uncles can’t wait to meet her 💕
