A lovely day yesterday!🎲 A few enjoyed a fun game of Ludo, while a few headed out in the afternoon for a trip to Spotlight Theatre!

Geoff also met up with his daughter whilst we were there, which made the day even more special for him💛

From our amazing nurses, doctors, paramedics and carers to all the other professionals who support our residents and the rest of the community — you truly are superheroes!🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

To show our appreciation, we’ve put together some special superhero gift bags and some beautiful homemade pain-au-chocolates for our wonderful heroes to enjoy when they visit us today!💙

Just a little reminder that our Superhero Party is happening this Friday, 28th August, from 11:00am! 🎉

🦸‍♂️ Come dressed as your favourite superhero for a chance to win our best superhero costume prize!

🎤 And from 1pm, we’ll also be enjoying some fantastic Elvis Presley entertainment! 🎶

We’re getting ready for our Superhero Party on Friday 28th August, starting at 11am!🦸‍♂️

And from 1pm, we’ll be joined by our Elvis tribute performer!🎤🕺
Get ready for some fantastic singing, the famous Elvis look and plenty of fun!

And tonight, after management had left, we had unexpected visitor… 🐦😂 A little bird flew into the home and gave us all a good laugh as the staff tried to catchup with it! The residents loved watching the chase! Thankfully, our little visitor was safely released and flew off into the trees outside, it caused no harm but plenty of laughter!🌳

Today we enjoyed a day of doing puzzles, with our residents getting stuck into word searches, crosswords and jigsaw puzz...

Puzzles are a great way to keep the mind active, support memory and concentration, encourage problem-solving skills and most importantly, provide lots of fun and social interaction!💛

Today was all about fun, teamwork and a little friendly competition! 🎳♟️

Our residents enjoyed a game of ten-pin bowling and a few rounds of draughts. A special shout-out to Peter, who was a fantastic helper during activities, collecting all the skittles ready for the next resident’s turn. Well done, Peter!👏
