Our Relatives’ Meeting went really well yesterday, and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended and took the time to share your thoughts, concerns and suggestions with us.

A lot of you couldn't make the meeting in the afternoon, but did speak to us in the morning we do want to say a big thank you to all that came in the morning and spoke with our Management team ❤️

At The Village Nursing Home, we take everything into consideration, and we have listened carefully to everything you raised during the meeting. We will continue to do our very best to make sure The Village Nursing Home is a happy, safe and welcoming home for all your loved ones. ❤️

We would also like to say a massive thank you to Jean Pinches for always thinking of our home and for the lovely photograph. It is absolutely beautiful, and we will be finding a special place to hang it where everyone can see it. 🥰

Thank you once again to everyone who attended yesterday. Your support, feedback and involvement mean so much to us.

Make Your Visits Extra Special

Our Activities Team has come up with a lovely new idea to make your visits that little bit more special and memorable. ❤️

Cassy wants to make the most of every visit, so once a week she’ll be hosting special one-to-one visits for you and your loved ones.

And it’s not just for Mum & Dad! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

These special moments can be shared with anyone who means something to you a brother, sister, auntie, uncle, grandchildren, cousin, nan, grandad, or even a special friend. 💕

If you like the sound of this, please don’t forget to book in!

Because here at The Village, it’s all about family and we want to help make every visit extra special, meaningful and memorable. 🥰

Thank you so much for your heartwarming words about our home. It was truly a pleasure for us to have spent time with Gerry.

Gerry will always be a part of our home and will be deeply missed by us all.

Thank you to the Ramsden & Smith families for choosing our home to be part of Gerry’s final journey. It was an honour to have shared this special time with him and to have been part of his journey.

What a beautiful day here at The Village Nursing Home! 🐾❤️

Our Activities team member, Cassy, brought her lovely cat, Persia, in to meet our wonderful residents and what a special time it was!

Everyone absolutely adored Persia. There were so many beautiful smiles, gentle cuddles and heartwarming moments throughout the day. 🥰🐱

Some of our residents were so relaxed and comfortable that both resident and cat even drifted off to sleep together! We enjoyed beautiful singing, lots of cuddles and so many precious interactions. It was truly wonderful to see how gentle and caring everyone was with Persia.

Cassy was able to make some very special memories with her beloved cat while sharing that joy with our residents and they are already looking forward to Persia coming back for another visit! ❤️

These are the moments we treasure here at The Village Nursing Home simple, beautiful moments that bring so much happiness. ✨

What a lovely afternoon spent with our wonderful residents, all coming together ❤️

There was lots of fun, laughter and singing as our residents and Activities Team enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with joy and togetherness. 🎶😊

It was truly heartwarming to see everyone joining in, sharing smiles & making lovely memories together. 💕

Today, she enjoyed a special visit with her sister, showed off her fabulous catwalk, and was feeling absolutely beautiful after having her makeup done. 💄✨

These are the moments that matter laughter, confidence, connection and enjoying life to the fullest.
