It has been a truly rewarding week, and I am honoured to be presenting yesterday alongside esteemed professionals and professors from around the world at the Conference on Traditional & Alternative Medicine 2026, on July 20–21, 2026, in Tokyo, Japan.

Representing Narié Holistic is a meaningful milestone. I founded the clinic with a vision to develop a research-led, evidence-based approach to holistic and integrative medicine, working alongside conventional healthcare.

In practice, I have supported patients experiencing polypharmacy to take greater control of their health through preventative and personalised strategies.

This has contributed to improvements in areas such as pain management, blood pressure, stress, mental wellbeing, hormonal balance, and weight management for my clients who seeks preventative measures and lifestyle changes measure for better health and mental health in their wellness Journey.

A central theme in my work is helping individuals rediscover balance and purpose—aligned with the concept of ikigai.
This achievement reflects small, consistent steps towards advancing holistic medicine in a safe, clinically integrated, and evidence-informed way.

I am honoured to represent Narié Holistic©️and Naturopathic Healing Clinic as one of the invited speakers and panellists at this event.

My presentation will focus on the side effects associated with androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), chemotherapy, and radiotherapy for prostate cancer. Through researching the evidence on these treatment-related side effects, combined with my background in holistic medicine, I have gained a deeper understanding of their impact on patients’ quality of life.

My clinical experience treating clients experiencing hot flushes—both those associated with menopause and those resulting from cancer treatments such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and ADT—has further informed my perspective.

This has led me to explore the growing body of evidence supporting medical acupuncture as a complementary approach for managing these symptoms.

The findings are encouraging and improving quality of life , demonstrating that medical acupuncture is a safe intervention for people who have undergone cancer treatment and may help reduce treatment-related side effects, particularly hot flushes, without adding further adverse effects. My presentation will discuss the current evidence, clinical experience, and the potential role of medical acupuncture in supporting the well-being of prostate cancer survivors
