🏆✨ WE WON SALON OF THE YEAR!!! ✨🏆

I honestly still can’t believe I’m writing this…

I didn’t win my category… but then something happened that I could NEVER have expected.

WE WAS ANNOUNCED AS SALON OF THE YEAR 2026!!! 🏆😭

And the crazy part? I didn’t even know we was nominated in that category! ❤️

To be recognised and chosen for such a prestigious award honestly means more than I can put into words.

After 21 years of Retreat, the highs, the lows, the ridiculously long days, the laughter, the tears and everything that goes on behind the scenes of running a salon, this one feels incredibly special.

But this award isn’t just mine. It’s ours.

To my amazing team I am SO proud of you all. Thank you for your hard work, your talent and for making Retreat what it is. ❤️

And to our wonderful clients, many of whom have been with us for years, thank you for choosing us, supporting us and continuing to put your trust in us. We genuinely wouldn’t be here without you.

✨ TODAY IS THE DAY! ✨

Tonight I’m heading to the West Yorkshire Hair & Beauty Awards 2026 as a finalist for Business Woman of the Year 🥂✨

After over 30 years in the beauty industry, building my business, working with an amazing team, teaching, navigating plenty of highs (and a few challenges along the way! 😅), being recognised in this category genuinely means so much to me.

I’m incredibly proud to have made the final amongst so many inspiring women in our industry.

Whatever happens tonight, I’m going to enjoy every minute, celebrate how far I’ve come and maybe even allow myself to feel a little bit proud! ❤️

Just sharing my daughter Mia’s dog walking page for anyone looking for someone they can completely trust with their pets ❤️

Mia has had a special bond with animals from such a young age and has always known she wanted to work with them. She has studied Animal Management & Dog Grooming and has two gorgeous Chow Chows of her own, so she’s very confident and experienced with larger breeds too 🐶

What I particularly love is that she offers SOLO DOG WALKS ONLY — no big group walks. Your dog gets her full attention, lots of fuss and genuine one-to-one care throughout their walk. 🐾
