Absolutely LOVED this morning 🤩 A full house at The Menopause Wellbeing Studio & such a good reminder of what happens when you get women together, talking & sharing honestly about peri/menopause

This us exactly why I created the studio. Will you be joining us soon?

Today’s Taster Day at the Menopause Wellbeing Studio was a blinder!

A full house for every session but more than that, it really reinforced why I created this menopause community in the first place.

The laughter. The sharing of the difficult bits. The reassurance of hearing someone else say “me too” The little insights that come from talking things through with other women navigating peri/menopause who just get it.

There’s something really powerful about getting women into one room and giving them space to talk, breathe, move, rest and realise they’re not the only one feeling the way they do.

Today we had a taste of Rebellious Rest, Feel Good Friday, breathwork, relaxation and the kind of practical menopause support I want this studio to be known for.

It felt like people left a little lighter than when they came in.

And that, really, is what I wanted this place to be.

Fancy being part of our growing little menopause community? Let me know in the comments

I'm running free tasters of both my breathwork based studio sessions next Saturday, alongside the regular free menopause drop in.

So if you've been curious about the The Menopause Wellbeing Studio, my sessions, wanted to meet me or just get a feel for what goes on here, thus is your chance!

Full details are in the post... I'd love to see you there 😁

Been curious about the studio… but a bit nervous about actually walking through the door?

You’re definitely not the only one.

So many women have told me they’ve wanted to come but felt unsure about turning up on their own, didn’t know quite what to expect or simply wanted to meet me and get a feel for the place first.

That’s exactly why I’m doing this.

On Saturday 19 September, I’m opening the studio for a FREE taster morning.

You can come and try short versions of both of my regular sessions…

Rebellious Rest
Lie down and let my voice guide you into deep rest.

Breathwork, stillness and deep relaxation for tired bodies and overthinking minds. For the most part, your only job is to lie there and let it happen.

Feel Good Friday
Get out of your head, back into your body and put some energy back in the tank.

We start low and slow with gentle movement, breath and body awareness, then build - more movement, more breath, more energy.

There’ll also be a Free Menopause Drop In, so you can come in, meet me, ask questions about peri/menopause or simply have a look around and get a feel for the studio.

The feedback from women who’ve already come through the doors has been incredible and I’m really proud of the vibe we’re creating here.

Welcoming. Relaxed. No pressure.

You can book one taster, come along to the Drop In or stay for more.

If you’ve been wondering whether the studio is for you, this is probably the easiest way to find out.

Saturday 19 September
10am–12pm
Menopause Wellbeing Studio, 13 Sydney St, Brightlingsea

Places are free but limited, so booking is needed.

I’ll pop the booking link in the comments.

Are you with me on this?

One of the things I loved most about my conversations after Happy Place Festival was seeing that little shift from…

“I know I should be doing all these things…”

to…

“Actually, I know where I can start”

Because most women I meet aren’t short of menopause information

Quite the opposite

They’ve been bombarded with it.

What’s missing is knowing what matters for THEM, where to put their energy first and how to turn all that information into something they can actually do.

And sometimes hearing another woman admit to the rage, the guilt, the overwhelm and the less-than-perfect bits helps too.

I never want women to leave one of my talks with another enormous list.

I want them to leave thinking…

Right. I can do this.

So, do you feel like there's so much menopause advice now… it leaves you clueless where to start?

Everything getting on your nerves lately? Maybe it's you...

Just not for the reason you think.

When you’re tired, overwhelmed, overstimulated or running on empty, your capacity gets smaller.

The questions feel more irritating.

Small things feel disproportionately huge.

And the person who asks you ONE MORE THING might get a response they really weren’t expecting 🤬

In peri/menopause that reduced tolerance can creep up on you.

You can start wondering why you’re suddenly so irritable, emotional or unable to deal with things you used to just get on with.

But sometimes the answer isn’t to try harder to cope.

It’s to give your body and brain some space to come down from constantly being 'on'

That’s exactly what both of my sessions next week are designed to do...just in very different ways.

Rebellious Rest...

Lie down and let my voice guide you into deep rest.

Breathwork, stillness and deep relaxation for tired bodies and overthinking minds.

For the most part, your only job is to lie there and let it happen.

Feel Good Friday...

Gentle movement and stretching - slow, deliberate and actually enjoying how your body feels as it moves - combined with breath and building towards a more uplifted energy.

Come in carrying the world on your shoulders. Leave feeling uplifted & more energised for the weekend.

Breathing techniques sit at the heart of both.

Because this isn’t only about feeling good for an hour in the studio.

The more you practise slowing the breath, noticing what’s happening in your body and consciously changing state, the easier it becomes to reach for those tools when your brain fog sets in, your patience disappears or when everything feels too much.

And this is one of those things that’s difficult to explain until you feel the difference for yourself.

Both sessions are at The Menopause Wellbeing Studio in Brightlingsea next week.

Booking is essential - the link is in my bio & comments ⤵️

So what do you need next week?

REST or a LIFT?

I’m closing the list for September 121 peri/menopause support this Sunday.

I see so many women wait until their symptoms are affecting more than just them before they ask for support.

Their relationships. Their confidence. Their work. Their ability to enjoy the things they normally would.

You don’t have to wait until it gets to that point.

121 support is about working out what actually needs attention first for YOU, simplifying the info and helping you implement changes that fit the life you have.

I keep all of my intakes small so I can give each woman the time & thought this work needs.

Some September spaces are already spoken for

If you’d like to be considered for one of the remaining September spaces, fill in my short form before Sunday

Just comment LIST and I’ll send it straight to you

Turns out I had a bloody good summer…

I think I’d got so bogged down in work, launching and running the studio and generally keeping all the plates spinning that I hadn’t quite realised just how much fun I’d actually had.

Easing my way back into adulting today and I’ll admit, the reality of dealing with the washing pile I’ve been ignoring is not fun

But putting this together and looking back properly did make me smile… and distracted me from the grown up stuff for half an hour.

The sun feels like it’s been shining wherever I’ve been but it’s always the people and the moments that really make it.

A few highlights…

Lanzarote with - we go way back but this was our first holiday together. Stand out paella at

I thought the eclipse was a bit rubbish 😂 but lying in the garden in the dark with my daughter waiting for the meteor shower afterwards and watching shooting stars was something else.

Time spent with is always fun

A couple of days in London with my daughter- theatre, museums and the most lush lunch and service at

Catching up with at

DANCING to Fatboy Slim in Colchester with the hubby .. I need more of this in my life 💃

And festivals!

It’s such a pleasure to be invited to share my positive take on peri/menopause and see women leave feeling uplifted and a bit more excited about what this stage of life can hold.

Thank you Midsummer and for having me this summer.

Just to go this weekend.

Tell me... what’s one moment from your summer you’d happily do all over again?

If you’re already thinking about your September reset, don’t make this mistake…

September has always felt like a bigger fresh start to me than January.

Kids back to school. Work properly kicking back in. Routines returning. That feeling of right… now I’m going to get myself sorted.

And this is where I see so many women in midlife and perimenopause trip themselves up

You decide you’re going to eat better, exercise more, sort your sleep out, drink less, take your supplements, get your steps in, meditate…

All at once.

Within a week it feels overwhelming, life gets in the way and suddenly it’s “I’ll start again Monday.”

Change works so much better when it’s easy.

When it fits into the life you actually have.

And, more importantly, when you can FEEL that it’s making a difference… because that’s what makes you want to keep doing it.

So if you want somewhere ridiculously simple to start this September, try this:

Get outside into natural light early in the day.

Morning light helps your body clock know that the day has started, supporting alertness during the day and helping set you up for sleep later on.

And in peri/menopause, when sleep, mood, energy and concentration can already feel less predictable, those little foundations really matter.

No big reset.

No new regime.

Just get outside.

Have your coffee out there. Walk the dog. Stand in the garden for a few minutes. Park a little further away.

Then notice what happens.

Because this is how I like to approach change.

Do something small enough that you can actually do it consistently.

Notice whether it makes you feel better.

Then build from there.

September doesn’t need a new you.

It might just need one thing that makes the current you feel a bit better.

What's your one thing for September?
