Hi I'm Maria!
Lawyer-turned-healer mystic.
I was the A-grade student, always chasing achievement, often finishing in the top 5% nationally (my name even appeared in The Sunday Times). In my twenties, I was determined to save the world as a civil rights lawyer.
There was just one problem.
I hated office culture.
I was stressed, exhausted, and deeply disconnected from my body.
Something had to change.
So I began a different kind of education.
Over the years, I trained in acupuncture, Thai massage, yoga, womb work, abdominal massage, and relationship and intimacy coaching.
Looking back, I think my mind simply needed a lot of evidence before it would trust the intelligence my body had known all along.
What every healing tradition taught me was essentially the same thing:
The body is not separate from nature.
It follows the same rhythms, the same intelligence, the same life force.
We are not separate from life—we are an expression of it.
And like all living beings, our bodies are constantly responding to life through sensation, energy, ease and dis-ease, tension and relaxation.
Given the right conditions, life naturally moves towards health.
This wisdom sits at the heart of so many traditional healing systems and continues to shape the way I work today.
Whether through abdominal massage, womb teachings, or simply creating a space where people can slow down and listen, my work is about helping people return to the natural rhythms of their bodies.
Supporting flow where there is stagnation.
Softening where there is tension.
Creating the conditions for the body's natural intelligence to emerge.
Helping people remember that their bodies are not something to fear, fix or control, but something to listen to, care for and trust.
These days, I still want to help change the world.
I just think it begins closer to home.
By learning to trust our bodies.
By living in rhythm with nature instead of constantly pushing against it.
By remembering that being human is not a problem to solve, but a mystery to participate in.
Because when we're connected to ourselves, we naturally begin to live in a better relationship with each other—and with the Earth.
If you're new here, welcome. I'm glad you're here. 💛
