Myself and my wonderful friend Emily Emily Doe Dandelion Stories are so looking forward to be returning to Into The Wild Festival to hold our Singing Circle Community Choir session!🧡🌈🎶😍💕

It’ll be our third year running and we’ve sung in the most beautiful spaces, with the most gorgeous people!

My band Solebound have been playing at this incredible festival for years, even before its birth, at Wildheart… and now weaving in my passion for leading song Circles has been really special 🧡

Emily and I met at our Singing Mamas CIC leadership training back in November 2023 and what a journey we’ve both been on since then!!!

This is a beautiful song, one that connects me personally to my history, one that really dives deep and touches people, it’s a song of hope and human connection🧡

When the parts come together it creates the most incredible harmony, they all weave together in such a special way 🧡

This is the first time that our Circle have walked around and sung, it really creates a whole body experience and also joyful and fun! 🧡

Hello friends, family and new followers ☺️

I thought I’d do a little intro to those of you who don’t know me!
I’m a folk musician of band Solebound, (Laura Yael Julius ) we’ll be playing this summer at Good Vibrations Society , Into The Wild Festival .earth and at Mobius Loop’s festival Peaceful World🤩❤️🥳

I’m a natural voice practitioner and am part of the incredible Singing Mamas CIC running groups for Women here in Brighton 🌊🧡

I’ll be running community singing workshops at Peaceful World, and at Tribal Earth and Into the Wild where I’ll be co-running with my wonderful friend Emily Doe Dandelion Stories 🌈

I’m also a mother to three sweet children (11,9 and 4) and wife to Alon Cohen who’ll all be joining us, as always, on our adventures 🚛🌼 🫧

This photo captures a glorious moment in time; the Summer season, the movement of travel, fields, stages, circles, glitter, huge bubbles, fire shows, late nights, singing, dancing and sharing food, van living💕🎶🌈🔥🚛

We’ve been travelling in this van, our home on wheels since 2012… adapting and building and tweaking it as the years have gone by with our growing family 😍

Music, in my reality, is a Source of Unity, Connection and is for me a beautiful way to bring people together.
Learning about each other’s cultures not only expands our mind but also builds tolerance, love and appreciation of each other ☮️

I’ve had a pretty rough couple of years and I thank all of those who have stuck around to support and show their friendship and love💕💜🌱

In these times of great division we have experienced loss of ones we once called friends, I thank for their support and their continued passion of being a grass roots movement, one that is inclusive of all women, one that holds us all up 🧡

If you choose to lead in love, then all the happiness and joy will follow and it is what we all deserve ☺️

Just listen to the absolute gorgeousness of our Women’s Singing Circle in Brighton singing 😊

This is a beautiful song arranged by inspired by a quote from the book of Isaiah(prophets) in the old testament “I will carry you, even in old age…”

It feels very fitting to sing this in a Circle of Women🧡

Summer Days are here by Lu Nixon ☀️

This weekend we went on a year 6 camping trip to 🏕️ 🚐 🔥🎶🌼

When I booked months ago I spotted that my lovely friend Laura was running singing workshops there!
It was a nourishing (child free) hour basking in the summer sun in a very green field under a very blue sky 💚
Of course upon my return I was greeted with irritable and hungry kids 😆 almost punishing me for running off for an hour… 🫣🤣💕

This is a gorgeous solstice song and one that I will be bringing to my groups for the summer months☺️

What a wonderful sing we had!
Thank you to for the magic that you create and the energy that brings all these wonderful beings together in the small world fields💥

Some folk entered the Roundhouse that day in the Healing Area uncertain, many hadn’t sung for a while…yet ALL left with their hearts open and carrying the incredible feeling of joy and positive well being when singing together in Circle 🧡😀🌈🎶💕🌸🌟

A LOT OF SINGING for me this last weekend…
3 gigs with my band Solebound including a midnight slot and two singing workshops 🤩 it’s a wonder I’ve been able to run two groups yesterday!( day after my return )
