How do we determine what is the right use of mind? What lies beyond the incessant chatter of thought waves and can we experience this? Is it our nature or habit?
Reclaiming headspace…
This is prime space - how much of it do we truly own? How much are we influenced by what we hear? What we see? Are the thoughts our own and where do they come from? Are they always useful? Can we cultivate peace of mind?
During the talk we will explore the wisdom tradition and modern sources to determine what the mind is really for and how we can better understand the function, faculty and power of the whole system within.
The event runs from 2.00pm – 3.30pm at the English Language Centre, Salisbury Road, Hove BN3 2GB.
