Hello everyone!

As discussed with some of you last week, I (Marjolijn) was going to let you know if I would be making tomorrow's session and sadly I have been called to work and won't be back until Wednesday. Luiza is in New York and also won't be able to be there and Josie and Fiona now have full time work and sadly can't help either.

The good news is, the group can still run with regular parents having been instructed and the room being available between 9:45 and 12:15 to allow for setting up and clearing up.

The bad news is that there won't be any (breast)feeding support, so my apologies if someone comes needing it! Please refer them to https://www.sussexcommunity.nhs.uk/patients-and-visitors/services/specialist-infant-feeding-team for support. The next group with feeding support is Tuesday in Hannover.

Wow. I am bowled over by the generosity of you all. Thank you SO much!
We have been able to pay all our outstanding bills and we hope that the new price of £3 per adult will be enough to pay our weekly rent of £24.

Hello everyone,

We are in a bit of a conundrum: we do not get enough parents coming to the group, to be able to afford our weekly rent.
To be transparent: our rent is £24 and we spend a small amount of a money on tea/coffee/biscuits. We were charging £2 per adult and currently between 6-8 parents on average come per week.

We are sadly now behind on our rent payments. We always wanted to keep the group cheap and accessible, because as parents ourselves, we know how valuable and a lifeline this group can be, but we see no other option than to raise the price to £3 per adult now.

Additionally, lovely couple Joyce Miller-Mear and Emily Blue Miller-Mear have set up this go fund me page for us to raise funds to pay our arrears.

Please help spread the word of our lovely group to parents of under 5s and the go fund me if youre able to help 🙏🏻

Good morning everyone!

This is me ( Marjolijn) and my girls 8 years ago at the Saltdean Bumps 2 Babies Christmas party! In the same room in the Lido, albeit before the renovations 🙂🎄

Tomorrow is the last group of the year and our Christmas party!

So please do come with you bumps, babies, toddlers, preschoolers and older children( in Christmas attire of possible)! In our usual spot: the Club Room at the Saltdean Lido from 10-noon.
Breastfeeding support available as per usual.
