I recommend anyone to read Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins even if perfume is not your thing. It's a timeless story wrapped in time lapse that makes you confront how society is impacted by superstitious fear and capitalist greed. The fear often spread by the Capitalists that only feed on wealth that they believe will bring happiness whereas Love is the only true carrier of happiness.
