I’m 45 today and feeling good ☺️🎉

Not because I eat perfectly or exercise every day.. but I’ve learnt that feeling good as I get older is about finding the balance that works for me.

For me, that means;

✨ Moving my body because I enjoy it, not because I have to 🤸🏼‍♂️

✨ Eating food that nourishes me most of the time (and not feeling guilty for having something that doesn’t 🤭)

✨ Keeping boundaries that feel right for me

✨ Spending time with the people I love ❤️

✨ Listening to my body when it’s trying to tell me something

✨ Not comparing my life to anyone else’s

✨ Realising good health isn’t about being perfect, but doing my best so I can enjoy life 🥰

So here’s to another year older! Feeling happy, healthy and comfortable in my own skin 💚

Do you take supplements?

Do you wonder if you need them (but not know where to start 🙈)

Often symptoms we are experiencing with our health can be quickly improved by balancing vitamin/mineral deficiencies.

In a session I can test exactly what your body needs (as well as what it doesn’t) so you know for sure you are taking the right things to support your health.

If you’d like to find out more please feel free to drop me a message, or book online via my page.

So happy to read this feedback! Thanks to my lovely client for writing it 🥰

‘I would highly recommend Suzie. Not only is she just generally a lovely person, but she was so attentive when listening to the issues that I was having with my tummy (bloating, pain, acid reflux) and she treated me with such kindness and compassion when I was describing how external factors may have contributed towards the problems I was having.

She had so much patience and I never felt rushed when talking it all through, I felt supported and cared for which can be rare in the world that we live in today. When Suzie started the kinesiology testing she explained what she was doing every step of the way, how it worked and what she was discovering in terms of what was putting my body under immense strain and what I needed to do/take/implement to help make things better. At the end of the session we thoroughly talked everything through, she made recommendations in terms of diet, lifestyle and supplements to take. I walked away finally feeling as though I had a clear way ahead as nothing else had been working for me.

I followed her guidance and within two months the change was incredible. I felt like a different person and could begin living and enjoying life again! I would definitely go back and see Suzie again!’

Have you noticed you’re feeling more tired than usual lately?

A lot of clients have been talking to me about this, and the weather is certainly playing a part in how we are feeling ☀️

When the weather stays hot for a long time, it puts a low level of ongoing stress on the body. Our systems are having to work much harder to keep your temperature regulated - even when we’re resting.

So we may feel more tired, irritable or low in energy. If your sleep is disrupted too we’re definitely going to be feeling a bit wiped out! 🥵

Here are a few things that can help;

✨ Keep sipping water throughout the day
✨ Take electrolytes if you’re sweating more than usual
✨ Eat hydrating foods like watermelon, cucumber, berries and oranges (or the odd ice cream 😎)
✨ Choose lighter, nourishing meals
✨ Take it slower and give your body time to rest
✨ Keep your bedroom as cool as possible at night
✨ Avoid too much caffeine and alcohol, as they can be dehydrating

Remember, feeling more tired during prolonged hot weather doesn’t mean anything is wrong — your body may just be working harder than you realise.

Listen to your body, and give yourself permission to slow down ❤️

Have a great day,

Could this be your body asking for help?

🌟You wake up exhausted despite sleeping 8 hours
🌟You feel bloated after meals but don't know why
🌟Your skin flares up at random times
🌟You feel stressed and can't switch off

Your symptoms aren't random, they're your body's way of asking for support.

In a session I can work out exactly what your symptoms are trying to tell you, and treat the root cause so we can clear the symptoms for good ☺️

If you’d like to find out more, I offer a free consultation for any questions you have before booking a session.

Have a great day,

Struggling with your weight and feel like you’ve tried everything?

Last week I saw a client for a follow up session, and she looked great - she told me she'd lost 8 pounds since our first session.

The best thing is, she didn't change her food, only the timing of it.

Previously she would graze all day (which keeps your blood sugars running high all day long)

She changed to eating three set meals each day, and it’s made a huge difference (in a short space of time!)

'What' you eat can also be really important, and following a plan covering both of these areas can really help. If you'd like support with this, please feel free to drop me a message or book a session online.

Have a great day,

Would you like to know where your symptoms are coming from?

We usually know when something isn’t right with our body, and it can be very frustrating to hear medical tests are ‘normal’ 😞

I use muscle testing to find out exactly what is causing your symptoms, the body always knows when something is not right - it’s so clever!

If you’ve never had a session and would like to know how muscle testing works, I am opening up a few free demo slots on 23th June.

Please drop me a message if you’d like to come and see me ☺️

I’ve just come back from a wonderful wellness retreat this weekend, first time for me and I really enjoyed it 🥰

Lots of walks, yoga, swimming and lovely fresh food. It’s a bit different to come back from a holiday feeling so refreshed 😂

Taking a few days out was such a good reminder for me of how important it is for us to look after ourselves, so often we are looking after kids/family/pets or putting our work first.

Is there something that you could do for yourself this week?

Even if it’s just taking an hour out for a walk, coffee, or reading a book you’ve been wanting to. Take some time for you ❤️

Have a great week,

Why strength training is mega important for menopause ❤️

When we get into perimenopause our hormone levels can change massively (especially estrogen) which affects our health in many ways, we often don’t feel ourselves 😞

Strength training is one of the most effective ways to counter some of these changes, here’s why it’s great to do it regularly;
🩷 Maintains our muscle mass - the more muscle we have, the more calories we burn, which helps our metabolism 🔥

🩷 Protects our bones - lower estrogen increases the risk of bone loss and osteoporosis, resistance training helps keep bones stronger 💪🏻

🩷 Improves mood, sleep and stress management - strengthen training gives us endorphins, which make us feel so much better overall 🧘🏼‍♀️

🩷 Helps with insulin sensitivity and long term health - hormone changes increase the risk of insulin resistance and things like cardiovascular disease. Regular training improves blood sugar regulation and supports our heart health

If you’d like help with any area of your health, please feel free to get in touch or book in online via my page.
