Over the past few days we have had to make a number of changes to appointments at short notice due to clinical staff sickness.
We appreciate that this may have caused some inconvenience, and we are very grateful for the kindness and understanding that so many of our patients have shown our team during this time.

πŸ’›Thank you for your continued patience and support during this time πŸ’›

πŸ’™ NHS Health ChecksπŸ’™

Throughout April-June, we carried out over 200 NHS Health Checks to eligible patients.

These health checks helped us identify 16 new diagnoses, including:

πŸ”Ή High blood pressure
πŸ”Ή Pre-diabetes
πŸ”Ή High cholesterol

Early detection can make a real difference, helping to prevent more serious health problems in the future.

You may be eligible for a FREE NHS Health Check if you:

βœ… Are aged 40–74
βœ… Do not have a pre existing cardiovascular related health condition
βœ… Have not had an NHS Health Check in the last 5 years

If you think you're eligible, please contact us through the Admin tab on Klinik. If you meet the criteria, we'll send you a booking link to arrange an appointment with one of our Healthcare Assistants.

At your appointment, we will:
🩸 Take a blood sample to check your cholesterol and screen for diabetes.
πŸ’“ Measure your blood pressure.
πŸ“ Ask some lifestyle questions.

πŸ“Š We'll then calculate your cardiovascular (QRISK) score, which estimates your risk of developing conditions such as heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, or kidney disease over the next 10 years.
