Our qi (pronounced 'chee') or life-force flows through our body in a complex web of invisible channels known as meridians. Practitioners in ancient China identified places on the meridians where qi gathers or comes closer to the skin.

The body has over 365 of these places known as points. These points are where the qi is most easily accessible and where it can be influenced with acupuncture needles.

Through skilful application blockages can be removed, balance can be restored and our energy can be renewed.

Qi is subtle and insubstantial, it cannot be seen or weighed, but it's effects on our health, mood and well-being are undeniable. 🙂
