One Care is one of the largest GP federations in England. It empowers general practice in Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire.

An estimated 1.7 million people volunteer for health or care services across Britain, each helping to make patient care even better.

Thank you to everyone who gives their time to support general practice in BNSSG. From helping patients get to their appointments, to befriending isolated members of the community, our volunteers are really appreciated.

Today we're celebrating our wonderful BNSSG nurses, like lead nurse L, who was recognised by her colleague for her skill and dedication in her role "She puts the practice first, giving so much of her time and energy … We are very lucky to have her!"

Nurses are a key part of general practice - from administering immunisations to wound management, they are vital for high-quality patient care.

We’re grateful to all BNSSG nurses for everything they do to support their practices, colleagues and patients.

The One Care communications team offer support to practices to develop patient-facing messaging that is meaningful and accessible.

Videos can be a great tool for sharing engaging messages in waiting rooms and on practice websites.
