August can feel like a reset button we didn’t know we needed.
Not a huge life overhaul. Not a perfect routine. Just one small moment each day to pause and ask: “What helped me today?”
A kind message. A quiet cup of tea. A child’s laugh. A walk outside. A meal shared. A boundary kept. A hard day survived. Sometimes gratitude isn’t about everything being okay — it’s about noticing the tiny things that carried us through.
This month, let’s normalise gentle reflection. With children. With teenagers. With families. With ourselves. Because when we practise looking for what is comforting, encouraging or meaningful, we slowly train our minds to notice more than the stress.
One small grateful thought a day can change the way August feels. 🌿
