Gracie is our Office Administrator, and she’s been with Aspire for a year now. She’s the one keeping everything organised behind the scenes so our carers can focus on what matters - providing the best support possible.

A huge shoutout to our incredible team members- Cath, Corin and Caroline - for their amazing support at today’s ‘Holiday at Home’ event in Tetbury! 🌟

Tetbury and Churches Together brought the seaside to our community with a day full of laughter, activities, and entertainment. From tea and biscuits to a delicious lasagne and salad lunch, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Our activities included watercolour painting, flower arranging, card making, nail painting, and board games. The highlight was the performance by the City of Tetbury Choir, singing classics and a Les Miserables medley.

It was a wonderful event where stories were shared, memories were made, and our community came together. ❤️

This is a rewarding opportunity to promote independence, dignity, and choice while developing your complex care skills with a nurse-led team.

Areas of Care and Training:
💙 Cerebral palsy support
💙 Epilepsy management
💙 PEG feeding

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care
• Supporting with personal care and daily living activities
• Assisting with PEG feeding and epilepsy management following training
• Encouraging independence and promoting wellbeing
• Working closely with the wider care team and family

What we’re looking for:
✅ Previous care experience (complex care experience desirable)
✅ Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
✅ Excellent communication skills
✅ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred

When a package comes in last minute, the clock starts straight away, but so does the work you don’t always see.

Behind every “yes, we can take that on” is a care plan being built, risk assessments written, the right team matched, and nurse-led training tailored to that one person. That’s the part that makes it safe. Taking on a package quickly doesn’t mean cutting corners, it means the whole team moving together (Alongside collaboration with everyone involved) so the person at the centre of it never feels the rush.

☀️ Working through this heatwave? It’s extremely important you look after yourself out there - but also we are all looking after each other!

Whether you’re on your feet all day or doing long shifts, this heat is no joke, so a few reminders from all of us at Aspire:

• Keep a water bottle on you and sip regularly, even before you feel thirsty
• Light, breathable clothing and sun cream if you’re out and about
• Take your breaks somewhere cool and shaded, you’ve earned them
• Watch for the warning signs of heat exhaustion: headache, dizziness, feeling sick
• And keep an eye on the people you care for too, keep up to date with signs of heat illness and watch out for your buddies!

Care Assistant – Bath area (1:1 support)

We’re looking for a warm, reliable care assistant to support an independent adult in the Bath area on a 1:1 basis. This is a rewarding role helping someone live life on their own terms, companionship, day-to-day support, and being a consistent, friendly presence.

It’s a non-clinical package (no epilepsy management or feeding-tube care).

Hours: Mon–Fri 10:00–16:00, Sat 10:00–13:00
Pay: £15/hr weekdays, £16/hr Saturdays
