1st Brabazon Scout Group

On Thursday, 1st Brabazon Scout Group had such an exciting evening - we officially welcomed 10 new Squirrels to our drey!

We talked all about what being a Squirrel is about as the children started working towards their World Membership badges. They made wonderful 'Promise Hands' pictures and we discussed the Squirrel Promise: "I promise to do my best to be kind and helpful and to love our world."

It was a huge milestone for our leadership team, too! Chris, our Group Lead Volunteer and Squirrel Team Leader, made his Investiture. He took his Scout Promise and was presented with his necker and World Membership badge by Ben, the Brunel Group Lead Volunteer.

We couldn't be more excited to see our drey growing - a giant welcome to all 10 new Squirrels!

1 week to go! 🥳 1st Brabazon Scout Group will be opening its first sections on the 17th September at the Spitfire Hangar at Brabazon. We are excited to welcome all the new Young People into Scouting who will be involved in lots of exciting opportunities working towards the various badges in Scouts.
