Client Handling VS Load Handling - which do you need?

People (Client Handling) is the safe movement of people, for staff in care homes, hospitals, schools and communities.

Load (Object Handling) is the safe lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling and carrying of objects for staff in offices, warehouses, workshops and similar environments.

We offer a variety of courses suitable for all types of Manual Handling, including the use of evacuation chairs and train the trainer courses.

We're proud to partner with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity for this years


Great Western Air Ambulance Charity provide lifesaving pre-hospital emergency care to critically ill or injured patients. Their team of Critical Care Doctors, Paramedics and Pilots bring hospital-level treatment wherever it's needed.


Between January and June, in 2026 alone, they've attended 1,122 calls - using their Helicopter for 27% and their car for 73%. With missions costing an average of £2,200 each, fundraising plays such a vital role in keeping their service accessible for everyone

🔥HEAT STROKE vs HEAT EXHAUSTION🔥

We should all be able to enjoy the heatwave, and the holiday-like temperatures that come with it, but it's important to know the dangers.

Heat Exhaustion is the body overheating, losing excess water and salt through sweating, whilst still maintaining the ability to regulate its core temperature.

Heat Stroke is a life threatening medical emergency, when the body's cooling system fails and can cause extremely high internal temperatures.

Knowing the difference, and the treatments, can save lives - particularly in this heat.

During warmer weather, ambulance services often see an increase in heat-related illness including dehydration, heat exhaustion, and breathing difficulties.

You can help by:
✔️ Staying hydrated
✔️ Keep in the shade and cover up
✔️ Keeping medicines stored correctly
✔️ Looking after vulnerable family members and neighbours
✔️ Using NHS 111 online for non-emergency medical advice

Please help us keep emergency services available for those who need them most.
