Its been a busy week so far, celebrating birthdays , taking a resident out for a shopping spree, and finishing it all off with a well deserved hot chocolate.

We celebrated Never Give Up Day with the residents through a variety of fun and engaging activities. We encouraged each other to keep going, it was a day filled with laughter, positivity and perseverance.

Residents enjoyed celebrating Cupcake Day with a delicious selection of cupcakes. From tempting flavours and beautiful eye catching designs.

Had a lovely coffee, at Tuck n Hale, Dundridge Park with one of the residents, making him feel truly special and valued.

The barbecue and live entertainment was a great success, the residents had a wonderful time. Everyone enjoyed the music, with residents and staff singing and dancing together. It was a fantastic afternoon with laughter, smiles and special memories that will be cherished for years to come.

We are busy getting everything ready, for our 'Taste of home' event happening this afternoon.
I've just been to our local butchers, Hanham Common Butchers, and picked up a selection of sausages, Cracked Black pepper, Old English and Apple and Cider. Hopefully there's something to suit everyone's taste at the barbecue!

Two residents enjoyed a lovely visit to the local pub, yesterday afternoon, where they relaxed with a nice drink. Spending time sharing memories together, they returned in good spirts after a pleasant and enjoyable afternoon.

The residents marked out the triangles on the fabric using a stencil and tailors chalk before carefully cutting them out with pinking shears. I sewed the triangles onto bias binding to create bunting, ready to decorate for our upcoming barbecue next week. They chose fabric from a wide selection of different colours and patterns, making the bunting unique and sustainable.

At the end of Think music, a resident unexpectedly took over the microphone. The other residents were stunned into silence before the biggest round of applause when the performance ended.
