🌞 Staying Well in the Heat 🔥
Summer’s here and so is the sunshine! ☀️ Here are our top tips to stay safe and feeling great during hot weather:
💧 Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate
Drink plenty of water — aim for a glass every hour, especially if you’re active.
🧢 Dress Light
Wear loose, light-coloured clothing and a hat when outdoors to keep cool and protect your skin.
⏰ Avoid the Midday Sun
Try to stay in the shade between 11am–3pm when the sun’s rays are strongest.
🍉 Eat Smart
Opt for smaller, cooler meals packed with water-rich foods like cucumber, melon and leafy greens.
🚿 Cool Down Often
Use a damp cloth on your neck or take cool showers to lower your body temperature.
👟 Exercise Early or Late
Move your body during cooler parts of the day to avoid overheating — we’re still here to support your mobility!
