​The heat didn't stop us from having an absolute blast this afternoon at Silver Trees! ☀️🔥

​The brilliant Disco Steve came along to entertain us, bringing an incredible mix of music, endless laughter, and fantastic energy to the lounge. Everyone was tapping their feet and singing along. 💃🎤

​A massive thank you to Steve for coming out and keeping our spirits high despite the scorching weather. You really made our day! 🙌❤️

🎵 It was time to put our music knowledge to the test with today's Music Trivia Quiz! 🎶

Our residents worked together in teams to name the artists, finish the lyrics, and even tackled a fun picture round featuring song titles. There was plenty of laughter, great teamwork, and a little friendly competition along the way!

Well done to everyone who took part and made it such an enjoyable afternoon. 🎤🎼🎉

With the hot weather in mind, we focused on gentle movements and range of motion exercises to help keep everyone active, comfortable, and moving safely. It's a wonderful way to support flexibility, mobility, and overall wellbeing while staying cool.

As part of our Pride Month celebrations, our residents have been getting creative by making a beautiful rainbow “Love is Love” poster! 🌈

We explored lots of different textures to bring our artwork to life, using paint, pens, tissue paper, glitter, wool, and more to add colour and dimension.

It was a wonderful sensory activity that encouraged creativity, conversation, and teamwork, with everyone enjoying contributing to our vibrant display. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
