One of our lovely ladies enjoying a relaxing picnic in the sunshine at The Downs in Bristol. With plenty of fresh air, beautiful open space and a tasty lunch, it was the perfect way to spend the day.

Sometimes the simplest moments are the most meaningful. Taking time to enjoy the outdoors, share a picnic and soak up the sunshine can have a positive impact on wellbeing, while also providing opportunities to connect with the local community and enjoy life's everyday pleasures.

A learning disability and a learning difficulty are not the same thing.

A learning disability can affect how someone understands new or complex information, develops skills and manages aspects of everyday life. It is lifelong, although every person’s abilities, experiences and support needs are different.

A learning difficulty, such as dyslexia, may affect a particular area of learning; such as reading, writing or coordination but does not affect general intellectual ability. A person may experience both.

Understanding the difference helps us to challenge misconceptions and provide support that recognises each person’s individual strengths, choices and aspirations.

At 3 Trees, we believe that the right support should never be about placing limits on people. It should create opportunities, promote independence and enable every person to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. 💚

Judging by the smile on her face, it's easy to see why this was such a memorable day! One of our lovely ladies enjoying every moment of our recent trip with .

We all had such a fantastic time on the fully accessible narrowboat that we've already booked to go again. We can't wait! It's wonderful to have the opportunity to enjoy another day out on the water, creating more memories, sharing more laughter and experiencing another fantastic adventure together.

A huge thank you to the amazing team at The Willow Trust for providing such a welcoming and inclusive experience. We feel incredibly lucky to be returning and know it's something that everyone is already looking forward to.
