Hillside Court Derby! 🐎🏆🐎🏆🐎🏆

Yesterday Hillside Court successfully celebrated our summer event, ‘Race Day’, the accumulation of lots of hard work from Manager Kellie, carer Gemma and the resident social club was evident in the many decorations, games and happiness that filled the room!
A wonderful afternoon for our little community and their families!
Thank you to everyone who attended and congratulations to all our winners! 🏆🐎

⚽️The fifa football World Cup kicks off tomorrow and the staff & residents of Hillside Court have celebrations in full swing, including an already sold out sweep-steak for the winning team! 🤞
All televised matches will be playing in our communal lounge and we encourage our residents to come along and support our/your country together! ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Today, some residents of Hillside Court have spent a social afternoon together commencing the big create of decorations and props for one of our summer event’s planned this year, ‘Race Day!’
Everything looks amazing and a fun time was had by all, next stop, fascinators! 🐎😀

Hillside Court are extremely proud to show off the incredible achievement of our colleagues Marie & Kelli from The Rise in Plymouth, for winning a National Safeguarding Award in recognition of their commitment to the safety of others! For that we also thank you!

Brilliant achievement, very well deserved!

We’re proud to share that Kelli Vella and Marie Dorney have won the National Adults Safeguarding Award for Protection (Team) for their outstanding work at The Rise.

The Rise is our specialist Extra Care scheme for people aged over 55 with visual impairment, and Marie and Kelli have gone above and beyond to make sure every resident feels heard, supported and safe.

They’ve created open, honest communication, empowered residents to share concerns, and worked closely with safeguarding teams and senior leaders to make sure action is taken when needed. Most importantly, they’ve made sure residents never feel alone. 💬✨

Congratulations, Marie and Kelli - a truly well-deserved achievement. 👏
