The Mystic's Midwife Business Clarity & Offer Design for Wellbeing and Spiritual Businesses

What I wish I knew when I started my spiritual business twenty-six years ago: stop trying to force your business to offer things you think you should be offering. I spent so long guessing — looking around at what other tarot readers and healers were doing, trying to copy the shape of it, hoping something would stick. What I should have done instead was actually speak to the business itself.

Ask it what it wants to offer. Ask it how it wants to move in the world. Ask it who it actually wants to work with, and what it wants to charge — instead of pulling a number out of the air or benchmarking against everyone else in the spiritual business space. Your business already knows these things. You don't have to invent them from nothing or copy someone else's answer.

I would have saved myself so much time if I'd understood this twenty-six years ago instead of working it out the hard way. If you're a tarot reader, a healer, a witch, or any kind of spiritual entrepreneur still guessing at what to offer or what to charge, you don't have to keep guessing either.

Comment "star" and I'll send you the link to Commune with Your Business, my free guided meditation, so you can hear directly from your business what it wants to bring into the world.

This is going to sound so weird, but stay with me. If you talk to the being of your business as if it's actually a living thing, it makes every business decision so much easier. Not because you're guessing better. Because you stop guessing altogether.

Your spiritual business isn't just a set of offers and a price list you're building from scratch, alone, hoping you get it right. It's a living being with its own consciousness — and that being already knows what it wants to charge, what it wants to offer, and exactly who your ideal client is. You don't have to invent all of that from nothing. You have to ask.
That's the whole shift. Instead of sitting there wondering what to price your reiki session at, or agonising over your next offer as a tarot reader or a healer, you literally have a conversation with your business. You ask it what it wants. You listen for the answer the way you'd listen in any reading you'd give someone else. This is Business as a Being — the whole foundation of how I work with spiritual entrepreneurs, witches, healers, and readers who are done guessing and ready to actually hear what their business has been trying to tell them.

If you've never done this before, I've made it easy to start. Comment "star" and I'll send you the link to Commune with Your Business, my free guided meditation — it's built specifically to help you sit down and speak to the being of your business for the first time.

Pricing for spiritual practitioners is never just about the number. Guilt around pricing for tarot, Reiki, or healing work shows up in three ways: charging less than you know you should, discounting when nobody even asked, and overgiving to make up for a price that already feels fair. None of it is more ethical. It's tiring, and tiredness shows up in the work. Comment a star and I'll send you the link to the free Commune with Your Business meditation.

Should your offer ladder look like everyone else's in the spiritual business space? I watched a Reiki teacher build her entire programme structure around a women's empowerment coach's offer, because it worked for her. It didn't work the same way, because it wasn't built for a Reiki practice. If you're stuck wondering why to structure a spiritual business offer and the templates you're copying feel forced, this is why. How much should you charge for a Reiki session, and why does undercharging feel safer even when it isn't?

Overgiving is one of the quiet ways spiritual practitioners sabotage their own pricing — giving extra time for free, throwing in things nobody asked for.

Every time you do it, you're telling yourself you've charged too much, so you stop trusting your own price. And your clients stop trusting the process too, because now they're expecting extras every time instead of trusting that what they paid for is enough.

This is exactly what a Commune with Your Business reading untangles. Comment a star and I'll send you the link to the free Commune with Your Business meditation.

So much spiritual gatekeeping!! I'm sick of it!

Have you ever experienced anything like this?

Should a "good" reading always feel positive, with the cards never delivering a hard truth?

No — and that idea is exactly what's created a wave of readers who avoid saying anything real because they're afraid of upsetting you. A skilled reader isn't there to make you feel good in the moment, they're there to give you an honest reflection of what's actually going on, even when that includes something you didn't want to hear.

Constant positivity in a reading isn't a sign of a gifted reader, it's often a sign of someone more focused on keeping you comfortable than on actually helping you. The most valuable readings are the ones that challenge you enough to make you think, not the ones that just tell you what you already wanted confirmed.

If this resonated, comment ⭐ and I'll send you the link to the free Commune with Your Business meditation.

Do you need a certificate or formal training before you're "allowed" to call yourself a healer, reader, or practitioner and start charging for it?

No — that belief keeps genuinely gifted people undercharging or working for free for years while they chase piece of paper after piece of paper. Training can absolutely deepen your skill and give you confidence, and there's real value in learning from others. But a certificate isn't what makes your gift real, and it was never the thing giving you permission to charge.

Clients pay for the results and the experience you give them, not for a wall of qualifications. If you're skilled and you're helping people, you're already qualified to be paid for it.

If this has you wondering whether you're actually ready to turn your gifts into a spiritual business, comment ⭐ and I'll send you the link to the Business Birthbook — it'll help you figure out if you're ready.

Do mediums have to say a certain prayer or follow one exact method to open up to spirit safely?

No — but that hasn't stopped countless student mediums being told they're "inviting in evil" if they don't do it exactly one specific way. Protection matters every time you open yourself up to spirit — that part's real. What isn't real is the idea there's only one correct prayer or one correct process, and that anything else leaves you vulnerable.

Other people's methods can absolutely be a starting guide, especially while you're finding your feet, but they were never meant to be the be-all and end-all. The real work is building a practice that's actually yours, not reciting someone else's words because you've been told it's the only safe way in.

If this has you wondering whether you're actually ready to turn your gifts into a spiritual business, comment ⭐ and I'll send you the link to the Business Birthbook — it'll help you figure out if you're ready.
