🎉 Silva Fest 2026 – What an Amazing Day!

Silva Fest 2026 was a fantastic success, bringing our community together for a day filled with live music, exciting activities, delicious food and plenty of special memories.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to every organisation, supporter and individual who helped make this year’s festival bigger, better and more inclusive than ever. Your time, generosity and enthusiasm made the day truly unforgettable.

A special thank you to:

💛 Field and Lawn – for generously providing four professional marquees and helping us create an authentic festival atmosphere.

💛 Gympanzees – for creating a brilliant sensory area featuring fun and accessible equipment from your Lending Library.

💛 Jax Price – for getting everyone moving with an energetic and inclusive Zumba session to start the day.

💛Kyra Bernice – for returning to entertain us with another incredible live performance.

💛 Redcatch Community Garden – for delivering inspiring Gardening & Art for Wellbeing activities, alongside the beautiful planters created by your Youth Climate Action Group. These helped highlight the importance of nature corridors for pollinators.

💛 Supporting Options, our sister company – for helping to organise the event and introducing us to the talented AJGArtworks Alexandra J Gabb, who delivered fantastic arts and crafts activities and tattoo's!.

💛 Old Redcliffians RFC – for once again hosting Silva Fest and providing such a warm and welcoming venue.

Events like Silva Fest would not be possible without the passion, collaboration and support of our partners and wider community.

We’re excited to announce that Silva Fest 2026 will take place on Friday 24th July at our usual venue, Old Reds RFC.

We’ll be welcoming back some fantastic favourites including Jax Price with her fun and accessible Zumba sessions, Kyra Bernice bringing live music, Gympanzees running their brilliant sensory tent, and Redcatch Community Garden hosting a hands-on gardening activity 🌱

And that’s just the start — more activities and guests will be announced soon!

One of our amazing partners for Silva Fest Gympanzees are looking for Session support staff to join their Summer Pop-Up Team! ☀️🙌

Gympanzees creates an inclusive world of fun and fitness, a space where disabled people and their families can exercise, play and spend quality time together without barriers getting in the way. 💛♿

Their Pop-Ups transform specialist settings into fully inclusive environments packed with accessible play, sensory experiences and specialist equipment for disabled children, young people and their families. 🎈✨

It’s Volunteers Week 💜

This week, we’re saying a huge thank you to the brilliant volunteers who give their time, energy and care to Gympanzees.

And this summer, we’ll need more helping hands for something very special.

Our Summer Pop Up is coming to Ilminster Avenue Nursery, Bristol, from 5th to 23rd August, and we’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help make it happen.

Our Pop Ups create fully inclusive spaces packed with accessible play, sensory experiences and specialist equipment for disabled children, young people and their families.

Whether you can give one day or several, your support could help families feel welcome, included and able to enjoy Gympanzees together.

Volunteer opportunities include:

☕ Café support
👋 Reception and welcome team
📦 Set up support
🚚 Pack down support
📸 Photography and videography support, where appropriate

No specialist experience is needed, just a positive attitude and a willingness to help.

Last week, Osprey Outreach enjoyed a planned day trip to Chew Valley Animal Park 🚜🌿, following a request from some of our service users. It was a great opportunity to spend time together, explore the farm, and enjoy a lovely change of scenery ☀️😊

Some of our clients from one of our supported living services were supported to enjoy a lovely day out at Portishead the other day. 😁

They made the most of the sunny weather we’ve been having and enjoyed spending time by the coast together. ☀️🌊

🎓✨ Last week, we attended the Careers Fair at E-ACT Venturers' Academy!

The event focused on supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as they explore their Post-16 and Post-18 options, while also helping parents make informed decisions about the future. 💙🌟

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share guidance, and support young people on their next steps. 🤝📚
