Compass House Medical Centres is looking for two caring, organised and empathetic people to join our friendly Care Coordinator team.

This is a varied, patient-facing role at the heart of the practice. You’ll be welcoming and supporting patients, helping with enquiries and appointments, managing calls, processing referrals and completing important administrative work that helps ensure patients receive the right care and support.

It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, communicates confidently and calmly, and thrives as part of a busy, supportive team.

“I never seem to see a GP…”

We understand that some patients may be surprised when they’re offered an appointment with an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) rather than a GP.

In fact, around 70% of our appointments are with GPs, with approximately 30% delivered by our Advanced Nurse Practitioners/ACPs.

Healthcare is delivered by a skilled team of clinicians, each with different training and expertise. Our ACPs are experienced practitioners who can safely assess and manage many of the health concerns patients have traditionally seen a GP for.

Matching patients with the most appropriate clinician helps us offer quicker access to care, reduce waiting times and keep GP appointments available for the most complex cases.

The most important thing isn’t the job title on the door - it’s being seen by a qualified clinician who can assess your needs and provide the right care.
