There’s never a quiet day here at The Potteries—there is always something for everyone to enjoy!

Residents relaxed while listening to a story, which sparked some wonderful memories and encouraged plenty of reminiscing.

Pens were at the ready for a creative story-writing activity all about life at The Potteries—written by our talented residents!

Kiki the Chihuahua joined us for a lovely dog walk, bringing smiles along the way.

We enjoyed a peaceful trip to the lakes for some fresh air, beautiful scenery and quiet time together
Residents were supported with potting their plants and adding some personal touches to their patio areas.

🎶 Colourful ribbons, favourite songs and a good old-fashioned singalong got everyone singing, moving and dancing!

We finished the day perfectly with a relaxing pamper session and nail care.

Another wonderfully busy and meaningful day at The Potteries! 💜

Happy belated birthday to Richard from all the staff and residents at The Potteries! 🎂🎉

Our wonderful Head Chef, Alain, created an amazing mousse birthday cake specially modified to meet Richard’s dietary needs.

Richard was absolutely delighted with his special cake, and it was lovely to help him celebrate! 💜

Lots of lovely activities have been taking place at The Potteries!

We enjoyed a wonderful sing-along with Richard, filling the home with music and smiles.

Residents took part in wellness walks around the garden, stopping to check on our growing strawberries and vegetables.

There was plenty of friendly conversation and laughter in our very own Quayside Café.

We also enjoyed a peaceful church service led by Broadstone Methodist Church.

Leanne paid us a special visit to chat about all things rabbits—and finished the session with a hilarious “Build a Bunny” game!

What a wonderful day out on the water!

Residents enjoyed a lovely boat trip with the Friends of Dolphin, taking in the beautiful sights around Poole Harbour. Everyone had a fabulous time, with plenty of smiles, laughter and happy memories made along the way.
A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff and volunteers who were so friendly, helpful and welcoming—you really made our trip extra special!

A Lovely afternoon exploring the beautiful Upton Country Park!

Residents enjoyed the fresh air, picturesque surroundings and wonderful company. We finished our outing with a well-earned pit stop at the café for refreshing drinks and a lovely chat.

Today we planted new flowers and vegetables, and everyone got stuck in and really enjoyed the activity. There was lots of lovely conversation throughout, with people sharing their own gardening memories, tips, and experiences while we worked.

There was also great interest in the strawberries beginning to grow, with everyone excited to see how they develop over the coming weeks. 🍓🌱

A really enjoyable, hands-on session full of teamwork, fresh air, and plenty of green-fingered enthusiasm at our Gardening Club.

Pam wanted to choose some new plants for her patio area, so today she and another resident enjoyed a trip to Haskins.

While we were there, Michael shared his gardening expertise as a keen gardener himself, he helped us decide which vegetables to grow next in our Gardening Club. After plenty of consideration, beetroot and leeks were the winning choices! 🥬🌱

A wonderfully person-centred morning filled with fresh air, friendship and green-fingered inspiration. We can’t wait to watch our new vegetables grow.
