Normally, I put the heating on before a sports massage client. But I have a feeling that won't be needed this week! Nice cool air-con all the way at JB Sports Recovery 😎❄️

🏃‍♀️ Running Inspiration 🏃‍♂️

Every runner has days where motivation feels low. Every runner faces set backs, tough sessions and self-doubt.

But progress isn't built in one perfect run - it's built through consistency, resilience, and showing up even when it feels difficult.

Our latest blog is all about running. Whether you're training for your first 5k, chasing a PB or simply running to feel better physically and mentally, every step counts. (As does planning in your recovery 😉)

So this is your Sunday reminder that your running journey is YOUR journey 👊

Visit our website www.jbsportsrecovery.co.uk for the full blog.

It’s been a little quieter on here recently…

Behind the scenes though, it’s been business as usual — helping people move better, recover from injury and get stronger week by week.

Sometimes the focus shifts from posting to just doing the work.

But I’m still here 👋
Still in Bromham
Still helping people stay active, pain-free and performing at their best.

If you’ve been meaning to get started, get back on track or finally fix that niggle, now’s a good time.

And if you’ve been in recently — how are you getting on? Always good to hear 👍

Have a good one. John

Fast forward to race day.

You’re standing on the start line and instead of nerves about your knee, your calf or whether you’ve done enough… you feel calm.

Because you know the work is in the bank.

You didn’t just chase miles.
You built strength.
You managed recovery.
You trained with purpose.

So when you hit the later stages of the race, you’re not hanging on — you’re still moving well. Still strong. Still in control.

And when you cross that finish line, it’s not relief that it’s over.

It’s pride.

Pride in the consistency.
Pride in the preparation.
Pride in the fact your body held up because you supported it properly.

That’s what becoming a resilient runner is about.

The Resilient Runner Programme is designed to help you train in a way that supports your body, not fights against it — so race day feels like the outcome of smart decisions, not good luck.

If you’ve got a goal on the horizon and want to approach it differently this year, send me a message.

Let’s build a body that carries you all the way through. 🏃‍♂️💪

Imagine crossing your finish line this year feeling strong… not broken.

Not limping.
Not holding your breath waiting for a niggle to flare up.
Not wondering if you “just about survived” it.

But confident.
Prepared.
Proud of how consistently you trained to get there.

That’s what building resilience does.

When you combine structured running with the right strength work, recovery and support, something shifts. Training feels more controlled. Niggles don’t derail you. Long runs feel challenging — but manageable.

And race day becomes the celebration of months of smart preparation.

The Resilient Runner Programme isn’t just about getting you to the start line.

It’s about helping you arrive there feeling strong… and getting to the finish knowing you earned it properly.

If you’ve got a race on the horizon and want this to be the year you train consistently and confidently, drop me a message.

Let’s make this the season you don’t just run — you run resilient. 💪🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
