This morning, we had a wonderful time baking a delicious fruit cheesecake together. Everyone enjoyed getting involved, from preparing the ingredients to decorating the finished cheesecake with colourful fresh fruit. There was teamwork, and conversation along the way, making it a lovely morning for everyone.

This afternoon was all about relaxing and keeping cool in the warm weather. Everyone enjoyed a selection of different flavoured ice lollies, which were the perfect refreshing treat on such a hot day.

Alan decided to spend some time in the garden, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was a lovely, calm relaxing afternoon, a simple pleasure.

A lovely morning was spent relaxing in the garden, enjoying friendly conversation and sharing heartfelt memories of childhood and family. It was wonderful to hear everyone’s stories.

Today we celebrated World Tiger Day with a fantastic tiger-themed day! 🐯🧡

We got creative by making our own tiger faces using coloured card, enjoyed completing tiger-themed word searches, and in the afternoon had a fun story time of The Tiger Who Came to Tea. The story was brought to life with character cut-outs and animated voices, creating plenty of smiles, laughter, and conversation.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, sharing memories, and enjoying a day full of creativity, fun, and togetherness.

A beautiful sunny day spent at Kings Meadow today! ☀️🌳

We enjoyed a lovely stroll around the park, chatted with some of the friendly locals, watched happy dogs out for their walks, spotted squirrels darting through the trees, and relaxed in the cool shade while enjoying the gentle breeze. Days like these are a wonderful reminder to slow down and appreciate nature and our local community.

A sweet afternoon was enjoyed by making delicious homemade coconut ice together. There was lots of chatting, and teamwork as we mixed the ingredients and watched our tasty treat come together.

Cultural Food Tasting in the Garden 🌿🍴

What a lovely afternoon we had enjoying a cultural food tasting in the garden! Residents sampled a delicious variety of foods, including Greek cheese sticks, spinach pastry swirls, Jamaican patties, sausages, pizza, chips, olives, cheese.

The afternoon was filled with wonderful conversations as everyone shared stories, favourite foods, and memories from years gone by, while others simply enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine and taking in the peaceful surroundings.

To finish our afternoon on a sweet note, everyone enjoyed delicious macaroons kindly donated by our wonderful local café, Chai With Friends. A huge thank you for your generosity and helping to make the day even more special. 💙
