💉We would like to inform our patients that we will be running FLU and COVID vaccination clinics at the Surgery from early October.💉

Patients who are eligible will be contacted via text with a self-booking link. Simply follow the link and book your appointment.🍂

For those patients that do not have a mobile phone, then we will aim to invite you via phone or letter, or you can call the surgery to book your appointment.📅

There are also appointments available online so those patients with access will be able to go online via patient access or NHS app etc and book their own appointment.📱

You should have the flu vaccination at the surgery if you are:
✔️Over 65 years old
✔️Pregnant
✔️A Carer
✔️Children aged 2 or 3 years on 31st August
✔️A close contact of an immunocompromised individual
✔️Frontline health and social care staff

Or have a long-term condition such as:
✔️Chronic respiratory disease, such as bronchitis, emphysema or some people with asthma (needing a steroid inhaler or tablets)
✔️Chronic heart disease and vascular disease
✔️Stroke or a transient ischaemic attack (TIA)
✔️Chronic kidney disease
✔️Chronic liver disease
✔️Chronic neurological disease, such as multiple sclerosis (MS) or cerebral palsy
✔️Diabetes
✔️Lowered immunity due to disease or treatment
✔️A problem with your spleen, such as sickle cell disease, or you have had your spleen removed
✔️A learning disability
✔️Morbid obesity

PLEASE NOTE – The COVID vaccination eligibility is a smaller cohort, eligible patients will include;
✔️Adults aged 75 years and over
✔️Residents in a care home for older adults
✔️Some individuals who are immunosuppressed

Join the group every Tuesday at 6:30pm at the rear entrance of Kidderminster Medical Centre.

Everyone is welcome, whether you're an experienced walk or just starting out. 💚
