As OTs, learning doesn’t stop when we qualify. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is such an important part of keeping our practice current, reflective and meaningful for the people we support.

CO-OP is about supporting clients to actively problem-solve and discover their own strategies, rather than simply teaching them the solution.

It reminded us of the importance of starting with the occupation that is meaningful to the person, practising in real-world contexts and collaboratively setting goals that genuinely matter to them.

This is what meaningful CPD is all about: continuing to learn, reflect and develop our practice so we can better support the people we work with. 🫶

We were absolutely over the moon to receive this lovely feedback from the parent of a 12-year-old boy who recently visited our new sensory clinic for an Occupational Therapy assessment. 💚

They were our very first family through the doors, and we can’t thank them enough for trusting us and being part of such a special milestone.

As with any new space, we’re still adding those final finishing touches—so thank you for bearing with us while the coffee machine ☕ and comfy seating 🛋️ make their way to the clinic! We promise they’ll be worth the wait.
