This summer, residents are being invited to unwind, stretch and reconnect with nature through a series of FREE yoga sessions. 🧘✨

Bromsgrove District Council are offering the sessions every Saturday throughout the summer, starting at 9:30am. 💙

The free sessions are taking place at Catshill Meadow and are open to residents looking to enjoy gentle exercise in a welcoming outdoor setting, just turn up with a smile and a mat (or towel). 😄

Portfolio Holder for Health & Wellbeing and Leisure, Cllr Shirley Webb, said: "Yoga is a wonderful way to take some time for yourself, whether you're looking to become more active or simply enjoy a relaxing start to the weekend.

“We're delighted to support these free sessions, which make it easy for residents to get outdoors, meet new people and enjoy the benefits of exercise in one of our wonderful green spaces." ✨

Participants can enjoy a range of benefits from taking part in yoga, including improved posture and mobility, increased strength and balance, reduced stress levels and enhanced overall wellbeing. 👏🏻

07/08/2026

By the end of 2027, all traditional landline phone services in the UK will be switched off and replaced with digital phone lines. Meaning calls will be made over a broadband connection, not the old copper network.

This change will affect:
- Those with landline phones
- Telecare devices or personal alarms linked to phone lines
- Contacting services like 999 and your GP surgery

If you or someone you care for relies on a home phone for daily use or emergency support, now is the time to start planning.

- Switch to a broadband-based phone service
- Consider using a mobile phone for back-up
- Speak to your telecoms provider if you use any device connected to your landline (like fall alarms, careline buttons, or health monitors)
