She’s home!

She’s absolutely exhausted, another 10kg lighter, hairless and now part Chilean.

The transplant admission has so far been a success with ‘engraftment’ being reached. We now have to wait to see if the new cells produce an immune system free of blast cells - no leukaemia.

The admission was by Fi’s own words like walking through hell. The damage the body takes during transplant is often misunderstood or not even recognised.

Shes broken - but she’s not beaten.

Fi has over 100 messages to read, and thanks each and everyone of you for your well wishes, gifts, cards, LEGO, and down right wonderfulness.
