Tonight I'm heading to the Malvern Hills to watch the solar eclipse.

If you've opened social media today you'll have seen it approximately four hundred times already. And rightly so — it doesn't happen often and it's worth making the effort.

If you're into the energetics of it — new beginnings, old chapters closing, things finally coming into alignment — the timing feels significant. I won't overdo it. But I will say it feels like a new chapter kind of summer.

Quick catch up from my world:

The hanging baskets have been a part time job. The lawn has given up entirely. I have loved every minute of this summer.

GCSE results on the 20th. Slightly nervous. We've done everything we can. Now we wait.

We're off to Corfu on the 24th. Simple, sunny, exactly what's needed.

And Nourished is open. A lovely group of women are already in there, headphones in, working through the content in their own time. The founder price is still available until 31st August — after that it goes up. If you've been thinking about it, reply or drop me a message and I'll send you everything you need to know.

Enjoy the eclipse tonight — hillside, garden or supermarket car park. It all counts.

P.S. Don't look directly at the sun. I don't need burnt retinas on my conscience before I go on holiday.

"Why did I do that again?"

If you've ever stood in the kitchen at 9pm asking yourself that — after a day where you held everything and everyone together — I want you to know something.

It was never about willpower. You don't lack discipline. Look at your life. Look at everything you carry.

The 3pm biscuits, the "I'll just have one," the being good all day and undoing it by bedtime — that's not a you problem. It's a pattern. One that was set long before you ever counted a calorie, and one that no diet has ever touched because diets deal with food and this was never really about the food.

I'm running a free masterclass to show you what it's actually about.

Why Can't I Stop Eating the Biscuits?
Monday 13th July, 7.30pm — live on Zoom, one hour, completely free.

Camera off, cuppa in hand, come as you are. Link to save your place is below. 🍪

June. What a month.

Here's what it looked like for me:

A talk at Warwick Pursuits family festival on why we can't stop eating the biscuits. Loved every minute.

My son finishing his GCSEs — and then immediately heading off on his Silver DofE in what turned out to be the hottest June on record. Bus breakdowns, record temperatures and ticks. Actual ticks. He came home tired, hungry and slightly traumatised but proud to have done it.

My daughter finishing prep school, a prom, a pool party with her closest friends and a move to seniors in September. When did that happen.

Three days in Marrakech teaching yoga, talking nutrition and running workshops with Esta. Pattern change work, future self stuff, sunshine and good food. Genuinely one of my favourite things I do.

Twickenham for the Gallagher Prem final with my son. A brilliant day out. Whatever your views on Henry Po***ck — great to watch in action.

Commemoration day at school. A proper full stop on a very full term.

Recording Nourished content behind the scenes — doors opening in July and I am so excited about this.

And reconnecting with Reiki — something I qualified in back in 2019 and never quite got around to using formally. Feels like the right time.

That's June. Onwards to July.

👉 If you're local — I'm running a workshop next Saturday 4th July at Zenergy Wellbeing in Bromsgrove. Why Can't I Stop Eating the Biscuits? 90 minutes, guided visualisation, £25. Link to book below.

I'm still processing last weekend if I'm honest.

I spoke at Midlife Mayhem on Saturday morning — first up, new faces, no idea how the room would receive what I had to say.

I talked about patterns. About the stories we carry. About the neuroscience of why we keep getting in our own way even when we desperately want to change. And then I took them through a guided visualisation to meet the version of themselves that's just on the other side of all of it.

Women cried.

Not in a bad way. In that way where something true has been touched.

One woman found me afterwards and told me she really hadn't expected to get emotional — that she didn't think she had it in her. That as the visualisation went on she felt something quietly building, and then a tear just slid down her cheek and she didn't even know it was coming.

Women kept finding me all weekend. To say the grounding at the start was exactly what they needed after weeks of running on empty. That they'd finally felt themselves land — properly land — maybe for the first time in a long time.

Cara opened the day talking about small changes becoming part of who you are. I followed with identity and pattern work. We hadn't compared notes. Hadn't planned it. But the two talks fitted together like they were meant to.

I stayed for the whole weekend. Did the classes. Heard the other speakers. Sat on the panel. And came home Sunday evening feeling genuinely full.

This is the work. And moments like this remind me exactly why I do it.

If something in this is resonating with you — even a little — come and find me. The door is open. ❤️

Tomorrow morning I'm speaking at Midlife Mayhem.

First slot. 150 women. 40 minutes. (Eeek.)

I've been thinking about what I want to leave them with. Not information, they'll get plenty of that over the weekend. Something that shifts something. A question they keep coming back to.

My talk is called 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙒𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙎𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙤.

It's a question I've been sitting with for years. And it's become the foundation of everything I do because it cuts straight through the noise of what we think we should be doing and gets to something more useful.

What would the version of you who is already living well actually do right now? Not perfectly. Not dramatically. Just — what would she do?

I'll be taking the room through why we keep reverting to old patterns even when we desperately want to change. Why it was never about willpower. And what it feels like to step into a different version of yourself, not as a concept but as an actual felt experience in your body.

Can't wait. Nervous. Ready.

If you're going to be there tomorrow — come and find me. And if not — this is exactly what we go deeper on in my 5-day reset starting 8th June. £27 to join.

𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.

And every morning that number decided how the rest of her day went.

Good number — motivated, eating well, feeling positive.
Bad number — unravelled before she'd even had a coffee.

She knew weight fluctuates. We all know that. Water, hormones, sleep, salt — the number on the scales at 7am means almost nothing. She could tell you that herself.

And still. Every morning. The same ritual. The same verdict.

So we did something about it.

The scales went in the loft. Not thrown away — just out of reach. And instead of the daily weigh-in, once a month she'd go to the gym for a proper body composition check. Muscle mass, body fat, the things that actually tell you something true about what's happening in your body.

Different focus. Different information. Different relationship with herself.

She started paying attention to how she felt instead. Was she eating in a way that felt good? Moving consistently? Had she got energy? Was she sleeping?

She lost weight.

Not because she tried harder. Because she stopped letting a number that didn't mean anything quietly run her life every single day.

I think about her a lot when women tell me they can't stop stepping on the scales even though they know it's not helping.

It's never really about the scales.
It's about what we've decided that number means about us.

If that's landing for you — I have a 5-day reset starting 8th June called What Would She Do. Five days of audio and prompts looking at what's actually been driving your choices underneath everything else. It's £27 to join.

𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗷𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲?

Hip bones out. Size zero. Every magazine, every music video, every poster on our bedroom walls.

I was naturally slim back then. And I still stood in changing rooms thinking I couldn't pull them off.

I was sixteen. I had no idea that feeling would follow me for decades.

Because that's what that era did. It handed an entire generation of women a standard that was never designed to be achievable. And then it told us that if we just had enough willpower, enough discipline, enough self-control — we could get there.

We couldn't. Nobody really could. But we tried.

The diets. The skipping meals. The compensating. The starting again on Monday. The quiet, constant background hum of not quite good enough.

That didn't go away when fashion moved on.
It went underground.

It became the voice that's still there at 46 when you eat something you've decided is bad. The one that says you need to earn your food. The one that wakes up every January ready to restrict and compensate all over again.

We absorbed those messages at our most impressionable. Of course they're still running.

It was never about willpower.
It was never about discipline.
It was programming. And most of us have never stopped to question it.

That's the work I do. And it's exactly what my 5-day reset What Would She Do is built around; starting to notice what's actually been running underneath, and choosing something different.

It's £27 to join and we start 8th June.

Every nutritionist will tell you what to eat. My clients want to know why they can’t stick to it.

Honestly that question changed everything about how I work. I kept seeing the same thing. Smart, capable women who knew exactly what they should be doing, and still couldn’t make it stick.

It was never about the food and it was never about willpower. It was always something running underneath that nobody had ever thought to look at.

"I just need to switch off."

Glass in hand. TV on. Not really watching.
Sound familiar?

I'm not here to tell you there's anything wrong with a glass of wine. But I do think it's worth asking... what are you actually switching off from?

Because a lot of the women I work with aren't drinking because they enjoy it. They're drinking because stopping means sitting with something they'd rather not sit with.

The house goes quiet. The to-do list pauses. And suddenly it's just them and their thoughts.

That can feel like a lot.

It could be tiredness. Overwhelm. An identity that doesn't quite fit anymore. Sometimes it goes deeper than that, patterns that have never really been looked at.

I'm not saying this to alarm anyone.

I'm saying it because it's the kind of thing that doesn't often get said out loud. And in my experience, just being able to name it is often the beginning of something shifting.

What do you actually need at 9pm?
It might be the wine.
It might be something else entirely.

"𝗜'𝗺 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻."I've said it myself. More than once.I'm not the kind of person who exercises consiste...

"𝗜'𝗺 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻."

I've said it myself. More than once.I'm not the kind of person who exercises consistently.
I'm not the kind of person who eats well when life gets busy.
I'm not the kind of person who puts herself first. But here's what I've learned, both from my own life and from working with women who are smart, capable and genuinely want to feel better.

It was never about the food.
It was never about the plan.
It was never about finding the right routine.
It was always about identity.

The quiet story running in the background that says this is just who I am.
The brain is wired to keep you consistent with who you believe yourself to be. So every time you try to change a behaviour without changing that story, it pulls you back.

Not because you're weak. Because you're human.

The question that changed everything for me and for the women I work with isn't what should I do.It's who do I want to be.

That's where it starts.
