We are pleased to announce that, in collaboration with our PPG (Patient Participation Group) and South East Shropshire PCN Health and Wellbeing, we will be holding a Cancer Coffee Morning.
📍Victoria Hall, High Street, Broseley TF12 5EX.

This event will provide an opportunity for members of the local community to come together for a cup of tea and cake in a warm and welcoming environment, while accessing clear and helpful information about:

💉Screening programmes
🤝🏽Local support services and resources available
We are already scheduled to have our local PCN Cancer Coordinator, Marie Curie, Prostate Cancer UK, Marie Curie, Bridgnorth Lions, Macmillan and many more in attendance, to help make this event as informative and supportive as possible.

💚 Carer's Need Support Too 💚

Caring for a loved one can be incredibly rewarding, but carer's need time to recharge too.

Crowsmill Craft Centre provides weekly respite sessions offering a safe, friendly and engaging environment for individuals living with dementia, while their carer's take a well-earned break.

📍 Bridgnorth Rugby Club

The sessions are designed to promote wellbeing, confidence and enjoyment through relaxed, meaningful activities in a welcoming environment.

The sessions give carer's an opportunity to take some time for themselves, whether that means catching up with friends, running errands, enjoying some quiet time or simply taking a well-deserved break.

💚 Supporting the person living with dementia while supporting the carer too.

Age UK are coming to Shropshire Libraries - Broseley Library on Monday 21st September at 11:00 to help give advice about scam awareness.
