Things got competitive in Baking Club today as we’ve been warming up for our very own Great British Bake Off entry on Monday! 🧁🏆

We’ll be going head-to-head with our other homes, Brough Manor Care Home Ltd Orchard Court Residential Care Home and The Old Vicarage Residential Care Home all battling it out to create the ultimate showstopper! 👀🎂

Our residents are getting ready for our upcoming Great British Bake Off competition against the other homes in our company! 🍰🎂

Today, everyone has been putting their creative ideas to paper, designing how they would like our final showstopper cake to look. From colourful decorations to unique themes, there have been some fantastic ideas shared, and it’s been wonderful to see everyone’s imagination and creativity shine.

We can’t wait to bring the winning design to life and proudly represent our home. Watch this space to see the finished masterpiece – wish us luck! 🧁✨

Our Baking Club has been in full swing at The Old School House today, with our residents making delicious chocolate crispy buns! 🍫🧁

There was plenty of mixing, laughter and, of course, a little taste-testing along the way! Baking is a wonderful activity that encourages creativity, supports fine motor skills, and brings back fond memories of time spent baking with family and friends.

The best part? Enjoying our homemade treats together with a well-earned cup of tea. 💛

A trip to the salon may not always be possible, so we’re lucky to bring the salon experience right into our home.

From trims and tidy-ups to fresh new styles, today was all about helping our residents feel pampered and confident. The smiles after seeing the finished result say it all!

It’s amazing how a simple haircut can brighten someone’s day, boost confidence, and spark wonderful conversations and memories. We love seeing everyone leave the chair feeling refreshed and looking fabulous. 💕

This beautiful lady was the absolute star of the show from start to finish, showing exactly the difference music can make to our residents. Seeing her joy, energy and happiness as the music played was truly heartwarming, and she had all of us smiling right along with her.

Moments like these remind us just how powerful music really is 🎶
