Mick and Brian from Broxbourne Nursing Home enjoyed a lovely lunch out at Mantos Meze Bar Grill, joined by their families and members of our team 💜

Everyone had a great time choosing their favourite dishes from the menu, and it was a lovely chance to spend some quality time together outside of the home.

The food went down so well that Mick and Brian are already looking forward to their next visit. We might have to make this a regular trip! 😋

Happy 89th birthday, Brian! 🥳🎂

Brian had a wonderful birthday celebration at Broxbourne Nursing Home surrounded by his family, our lovely fellow residents and our lovely team. With live entertainment, cake and plenty of company, there was certainly lots to enjoy.

Brian even got up for a dance, making the most of his special day. It was lovely to see just how much he enjoyed himself, and we were so pleased to help make his birthday one to remember ❤️

International Beer Day at Broxbourne Nursing Home 🍻

We had a lovely afternoon with our residents, their families and friends, enjoying a few cold drinks and some tasty snacks together. There was plenty of time to catch up, have a chat and enjoy each other’s company.

We finished things off with ice cream, which went down very nicely indeed! A simple afternoon, but a lovely excuse to bring everyone together ❤️

What a lovely afternoon we had in the garden celebrating Hot Air Balloon Day 🎈☀️

Although we couldn’t make it to Bristol for the International Balloon Fiesta, we brought a little bit of the fun to our own garden. Our residents and families enjoyed watching the balloons head up into the sky before settling down to a lovely afternoon tea together.

With the sunshine out, plenty of good company and some tasty treats to enjoy, it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon 💜

We are still smiling as we look back on our 4th anniversary celebrations at Broxbourne Nursing Home 💜

There was so much to enjoy throughout the day. The barbecue was a real hit, our wonderful singer had everyone clapping along and before long the dance floor was full of residents, families and even a few special guests.

A big thank you once again to the Mayor of Broxbourne, Councillor Patsy Spears, and Councillor George Nicolaou for helping make the occasion even more memorable with their kind words and for joining in with the celebrations.

One of our favourite moments had to be watching one of our lovely residents cut the anniversary cake to round off such a special occasion 🎂

A huge thank you again to everyone who celebrated with us and helped make our anniversary one to remember. Here's to making many more wonderful memories together 💜

Our garden at Broxbourne Nursing Home was full of friendly faces recently as we welcomed students from The John Warner School for a lovely afternoon together🌼💜

Our residents, the students and their families rolled up their sleeves to plant flowers, with plenty of chats and laughter along the way. Afterwards, the students treated everyone to music, singing and dancing while others relaxed with refreshments in the sunshine.

It was wonderful to see the friendships that blossomed between the generations. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the students, and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon so special💜

Celebrating 4 wonderful years of Broxbourne Nursing Home ! 🎉

We had such an incredible time marking this special milestone with our amazing team, residents, families, and members of the local community who joined us for the celebrations. It truly meant so much to share the day with everyone who makes our home so special.

Our residents really enjoyed meeting the lovely Mayor of Broxbourne, Councillor Patsy Spears, and we were also so pleased to welcome Councillor George Nicolaou and his wife for the celebrations. They spent time chatting with everyone and shared a few heartfelt words, which meant a lot to our residents. It was especially nice hearing how kindly they spoke about our home, and there were plenty of smiles during those conversations.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey over the past four years, your support, kindness, and dedication have made it all possible.

Here’s to many more years of bringing joy, happiness, and fulfilment to the lives of our residents 💛

July saw us celebrating a few of our favourite dates in the calendar, alongside all the everyday moments that make each month special 💜

We marked World Chocolate Day with a few well deserved treats, celebrated National Ice Cream Day with everyone's favourite flavours, and during , we took the opportunity to recognise our wonderful teams who make such a difference every day 🍦🍫

Alongside the celebrations, there were all the little moments that make each month what it is, catching up with friends, enjoying favourite activities and making the most of the summer days.

Mick turned 79 in the best possible way, surrounded by his lovely family and a few familiar faces from our home 🥳

From the moment everyone arrived, you could feel how much he’s loved. There were big smiles, warm hugs and plenty of chatter as residents and team members joined in to celebrate alongside him.

Things really got going when the music came on. Mick’s wife and our team didn’t need much encouragement to start dancing, and before long Mick was up too, having a little boogie and a good laugh with everyone around him 🕺

Of course, no birthday is complete without cake, and this one went down a treat. A special day for a wonderful gentleman, and one we were all so happy to be part of 💜
