🌘🩸 THE MOON GOES DARK ON THURSDAY

The Sturgeon Moon enters the earth’s shadow on the night of Thursday August 27. Not a total eclipse. 96% of her disk goes copper red and one thin rim of gold stays lit the whole time. The shadow takes almost all of her. It never takes all.

She stands at five degrees of Pisces. The sun stands opposite at five degrees of Virgo. Gemini and Sagittarius stand at the square. These are the four she calls.

🔹 PISCES: she lands on you. This closes a chapter that opened two years ago. The boundary you kept meaning to draw and never drew is the thing she is pointing at.

🔹 VIRGO: the sun holds the mirror. What you have been managing instead of feeling. You have catalogued it beautifully. Put the list down.

🔹 GEMINI: the story you tell about what happened. Not the thing itself. The version you have rehearsed until it stopped being true.

🔹 SAGITTARIUS: the road you said you would take. She is asking whether you still want it, or whether you are only walking it because you said it out loud.

First ten degrees of those four signs, this one has your name on it. Everyone else still has a shadow. She is only pointing at it.

The old women did not plant seed in a shadow. They witnessed, they released, and they waited for the light to come back before they asked it for anything. Name the thing you have carried past its season. Let it go while she is dark.
