📸 Reminiscence Afternoon at Netherha 💕
We enjoyed a wonderful reminiscence afternoon at Netherha Care Home, where families brought along old photographs and special memories to share with our residents.
It was lovely to see the smiles, conversations and stories that these treasured photographs brought back. Residents enjoyed looking through familiar faces, remembering special occasions and sharing stories from days gone by with their loved ones and fellow residents. 🥰
Reminiscence activities are a wonderful way to support memory, communication and social connection. They can help residents recall meaningful experiences, encourage conversation, strengthen relationships with family and friends, and promote a sense of identity and belonging. Most importantly, they provide opportunities to celebrate each person’s unique life story and the memories that mean so much to them.
