Because they are made of solid pine wood and fully biodegradable, they are perfect for eco-friendly natural burials and green cremations. Our coffins and caskets are beautifully Hand crafted from solid pinewood, which is sourced from sustainable forests and lined using 100% non-bleached natural fair-trade cotton with meadow grass hay padding when requested, handles are made from either natural h**p rope or pine handrails. Everything we display may be purchased as you see it here, or you may request modifications. Simply contact us to discuss the details. Also note, all our products are individually handmade and though great care is taken to recreate every piece to match the original, no replica will ever be an exact match. We try to keep all of our stock items on-hand so we can for fill your requests without delay. Please keep in mind that if you want specialty or custom pieces this will require production time.

I am just writing to say thank you for the beautiful Devonshire Eco-Casket you made last month for my Mum, Kathleen. It won praise from everyone, funeral attendees and professional staff alike.

Thank you especially for the efforts you made to accommodate Dad’s ashes and for the lovely inscription on the lid.

The funeral took place on a beautiful sunny day, with butterflies and dragonflies all around, and Handel’s Messiah ringing out!

Hello Paul,
Just to say a big thank you for the Scandinavian casket you provided for the funeral on Friday of our Dad Don.
Dad had very strong connections with Norway so we - Dad's children - were keen to find a casket that reflected this. The Scandinavian eco-casket was the perfect design.
We were particularly impressed by the personal touch with which you asked what Dad's favourite music was, so that you could listen to it during the making of the casket. You knew his particular music well. The fact that you also explained you have a Norwegian connection was the serendipity icing on the cake. It really made us feel that we had found the right person with the right design, and who knew the right music for the production process, all of which Dad would thoroughly have approved.
Thank you for your help, and the way in which you communicated with us - very much appreciated.

Memory panels available, working in conjunction with our local commercial artist Sally Leggatt who currently works with the Wildlife Trust, there is now an option to purchase one of Sally's wildlife paintings as a lasting memory panel for a loved one that uses a piece of the same timber that we use to build a loved ones coffin.
