Upper blepharoplasty: my 2‑week recovery check‑in 👁️💙
Two weeks post‑op and here’s where I’m at:

• Swelling: gone and tape is off and wounds fully healed despite my accidental nocturnal scratching! 🙈
• Bruising: gone
• Incision line: flattening, softening, and healing well. Still raised and pink but that will settle over the next few weeks. I’m gently massaging it with Tropic Temanu Balm 🍃
• Comfort: no pain, just mild tightness at the end of the day
• Daily life: fully back to normal

I’m still avoiding heavy lifting, sun exposure, and anything that strains the eyes, but overall the recovery has been straightforward and very manageable considering my planned rest post op didn’t happen due to a huge curveball in life events.

I am going to attempt to wear eye make up next week then start a course of polynucleotides after my holiday in September.
