A note from Kaylie following the incredible performances at The Red Leaf and Bude Pride:

Post show thoughts…….
It’s been a long year of planning, devising, choreographing, creating, thinking, procrastinating and developing but today I finally close the last page of The Red Tree book!
It took until yesterdays Pride performance for me to finally realise that I can slow down, find stillness and hold space for myself. I now need to rest and rejuvenate and put together all the parts of me that have broken during this mega journey!

But boy, was it all worth it……. What a show, what a process and what an adventure we have had. I will never forget this experience that’s for sure.
The energy and passion in Penstowe was a once in a lifetime opportunity to celebrate in the joy that is dance. I feel honoured, privileged and blessed to teach all of those performers and can not thank you enough for all of your support, dedication and commitment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The show exceeded all of my expectations and the magic that was bouncing round in my head for so long was there right in front of me, it was a reality.

BudeBeats and NDuRe is now a dance force and that is down to you my friends.

Two more weeks and we break for summer….. however I am thinking we may apply to Bude Carnival and join the processsion this year! Watch this space

Bolster: noun. A bolster is a long, firm, cylindrical cushion that is used as a yoga accessory or prop. It provides comfort, supports poses and helps to increase stretching during restorative postures and deep breathing exercises.
For example: “Place your bolster under the knees to support your lower back.”

Throughout this weeks class we will be harnessing the beautiful benefits of the bolster.
After spending an hour using one, you may want to take it home with you!
