🌟 Feedback Friday 🌟

Kind words like these remind us why we do what we do.

“We finally feel heard and understood. The assessment truly reflected our child, and our worries about masking were put to rest. Thank you for making us feel confident in the process from the very beginning.”

Thank you to this family for allowing us to share their feedback.

At CATS, we know that every child presents differently. Our experienced multidisciplinary team takes the time to understand the whole child, helping families feel listened to, supported and confident in the assessment process.

🩷 Thank you for trusting us with your journey.

🌞 The summer holidays are the perfect time to support your young child’s early language development through everyday fun.

Talking, reading, singing, playing and exploring together all help to build communication skills. The best part is that it doesn’t need to feel like learning. Just enjoy spending time together and follow your child’s lead.

Every child develops at their own pace, but small moments of connection can make a big difference. 💙

The end of term can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming for many neurodivergent children as routines change and expectations shift.

A little preparation can make a big difference. Using visuals, social stories, countdowns and allowing time to rest and regulate can help children feel more confident as they move into the summer holidays.

Wishing all our children, families and schools a happy, safe and restful break. 💙

🐞 Did you know it’s Bugs Week in the UK? 🐛🦋

At CATS, we quite often hear from children that bugs, insects and tiny creatures are one of their passions or special interests, and we love hearing about them!

For many autistic children, special interests are so much more than just a hobby. They can bring huge joy, comfort, confidence and connection. They can help children learn, communicate, regulate and share something important about who they are.

Whether it’s butterflies, beetles, trains, dinosaurs, maps, Minecraft, space, animals or something wonderfully unique, these interests matter.

And for any little bug enthusiasts, The Bug Parc • Norwich near Norwich is a lovely local place to explore insects up close. 🐜

What special interest brings your little one joy? We’d love to hear. 🩷🩵

☀️ Clinics are running as normal today ☀️

Due to the expected high temperatures, please send your child with plenty of water so they can stay hydrated throughout their appointment.

We have fans going in clinic and may need to keep some doors open to help keep the air flowing.

When you arrive, please take a seat in reception and we will come to collect you at your appointment time.

The good news is… the Earsham Hall Tea Room sells ice cream! 🍦🍨🦚

Wishing all our families a safe and happy weekend in the sunshine ☀️🩷🩵
