πΆπ Music, Mindfulness & Community at Keymer Hall ππΆ
Itβs been a wonderful few days here at Keymer Hall, filled with music, friendship, mindfulness and community spirit β¨
On Sunday, we were delighted to welcome the local WI Just Sing Choir, who joined our residents for a fantastic concert and singalong π€πΆ The room was filled with smiles, harmonies and plenty of toe-tapping as everyone came together through the joy of music.
Yesterday marked another exciting milestone as we held the very first rehearsal of the Keymer Choir π΅π This special collaboration brings together residents, families, staff and the children and team from Dicker House Pre-School. It was wonderful to see different generations singing side by side, creating connections and sharing a love of music that transcends age.
Today, residents enjoyed a relaxing and energising Tai Chi session with Kevin from Jade Mountain Tai Chi β―οΈπΏ Through gentle movement, balance and mindful breathing, residents left feeling refreshed, motivated and ready to embrace the day ahead.
From singing and socialising to movement and mindfulness, these experiences highlight the importance of nurturing wellbeing in many different ways. Music helps bring people together, sparks memories and lifts spirits, while activities such as Tai Chi support both physical and mental wellbeing.
All of these wonderful moments are part of our Life Enrichment Programme, creating opportunities for residents to stay connected, engaged and inspired every day π‘β¨
Care so good, itβs unexpected β¨
