Mindfulness

Are you curious about “Mindfulness”?

Start your mindfulness journey with our online introduction to Mindfulness on the 3 September which is designed for those curious to find out more about mindfulness, why it is practiced, how it benefits mental health through developing self-awareness, a compassionate attitude to self and others, a deeper connection with the present moment, all of which can lead to living a richer and fuller life and experience of ourselves. They will also explore a few simple mindful practices to help you begin your mindfulness journey.

They are then holding three face to face Mindfulness sessions in Maldon on the 10, 17 and 24 September.

Mindfulness based training is an ancient approach, now recognised scientifically for promoting well-being.
Mindfulness is about being present, in the moment, noticing your experience of the now. With mindfulness practices, we learn to recognise and acknowledge what is going on in the mind and body moment by moment, increasing self awareness of thoughts, emotions and sensations that arise.

📢 Important update about GP patient lists

You may have seen reports about GP practices across England carrying out more extensive “list cleansing”.

This is a routine process designed to make sure GP records are accurate and remove people who have moved away or are no longer registered.

Over 300,000 patients have reportedly been removed from GP lists across England in the past year. Patients who do not respond to letters asking them to confirm their registration may be removed, which could potentially affect access to their GP and continuity of care.

⚠️ If you receive a letter asking you to confirm that you are still registered with your GP practice, please respond as soon as possible.

If you have any concerns about your registration or believe you have been removed from our practice list incorrectly, please contact us so we can check your details.

We want to reassure our patients that your safety and continued access to your GP practice remain our priority. ❤️
