We’re super proud of how our garden is growing! Our first year of growing our own produce started slowly, but we’ve certainly caught up. Residents have been enjoying harvesting our homegrown tomatoes, cucumbers, chillies, radishes and spring onions, which have all been taken through to the kitchen to be enjoyed in lunches and supper.

We also had a fantastic book club, with residents coming out of their comfort zones and reading aloud. It was lovely to see everyone supporting and encouraging each other.

Our coastal tour through Clevedon and Portishead was another highlight, with the minibus full and plenty of lovely sights and conversations along the way. It certainly gave everyone lots to talk about!

e were also delighted to welcome Andrew, one of our wonderful volunteers, who came along for a chat and a singalong. He is such a lovely man, and we really appreciate the time he spends with us. Thank you, Andrew!

And now, it’s another busy week ahead at Beaufort House! We can’t wait to see what’s in store.

What a fantastic Summer Fayre at Beaufort House! 🌟

Saturday’s Summer Fayre was a brilliant success, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us!

There were so many wonderful stalls, with homemade crafts, lovely goods and delicious cakes, as well as a raffle, BBQ and fantastic entertainment from the beautiful Maria Florey, who was absolutely fabulous!

A special thank you to all the team who were on duty, as well as our team members and their families who came in to help - you were all amazing!

We also had a very special moment when the winner of our giant teddy, who lives at Beaufort House, kindly donated her prize to the RNLI.

And of course, a huge thank you to our Activities Organiser, Rachel, for all her hard work in helping make the fayre such a success. 🌟

🎄 Don’t miss our next fayre!
Our Christmas Fayre will be taking place on Saturday 22nd November 2026, from 10am–3pm.

What a fantastic day out with our residents from Beaufort House!

We had a wonderful day exploring Wells Cathedral and the beautiful city of Wells. With the market in full swing, the town was full of life and had such a welcoming atmosphere.

We even spotted the Town Crier sharing news of what was happening around the city, and the famous swans at the Bishop’s Palace waiting patiently for their lunch!

After a lovely lunch at the Cathedral Loft, we enjoyed a tour around the magnificent cathedral before heading home.

It was a brilliant day filled with sightseeing, laughter and wonderful memories. 💕 And, as always, family members are welcome to join their loved ones on trips, just as Linda does with her dad.

Another fantastic week at Beaufort House!

We had music from Graham and a very special visit from our much-loved PAT dog, who our residents absolutely adore! 🐶❤️

We also headed out to Steart Marsh for some bird watching and would like to say a big thank you to the team there for kindly opening the gates so our minibus could get through. 🐦🌿

Of course, no trip is complete without a picnic! A huge thank you to Rachel for preparing such a lovely spread, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. 🧺🥪

A huge thank you to John from the RNLI for such an informative afternoon. We learnt all about the incredible work they do and what happens when they're called out to an emergency.

We were so impressed that we've invited the team to visit Beaufort House to give a presentation to our residents.

Our residents had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Thank you again John!

A fabulous week was had at Beaufort House!📽️

We were invited to Churchfield school to watch there end of term show Peter Pan: it was brilliant. We also worked on some art with them which has been displayed in reception and we went on trips out.
Not only that, ITV came to Beaufort on Thursday, they are filming for a Sunday morning show: 'Therapy for Pets!'

I was so proud of our residents, they composed themselves so professionally! It will be shown on the end of August beginning of September. So stay tuned!

We celebrated in true Wimbledon style with delicious ice creams, strawberries and cream, and plenty of refreshing drinks this week! 🎾

While some of our residents enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine, other rolled up their sleeves in what was formerly known as the 'Men's Shed' Which we've now renamed it the 'Odd Job Shed', as it's a wonderful activity enjoyed by both our ladies and gentlemen.

We also had a lovely visit from Chester, our wonderful PAT dog, and his owner, Helen, who always brings plenty of smiles! 🐶

Watch this space! We've have an exciting week ahead as the ITV film crew comes to visit Beaufort.

Some of our residents also enjoyed a peaceful outings to a beautiful cafe in the Peat Moor. With only birds singing and the sound of their own conversations, it was the perfect place to unwind. They sipped ice cold elderflower drinks while enjoying a gentle summer breeze and it must've been a hit because they all asked to go back! ☀️

At Beaufort, we're proud to offer a homely welcome, a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful garden for everyone to explore. 🏡

What a wonderful few days we've had at Beaufort House! 🌞💛

We had a fantastic time welcoming the children from Churchfield School, along with our talented artist Margaret, as they joined our residents for a creative drawing session. Everyone drew something that was special to them. Their amazing artwork will soon be proudly displayed at the school.

We've also been making the most of the sunshine, cheering on England together with Guinness, tasty snacks, and delicious cupcakes lovingly made by Kelly. 🧁⚽

Our trip to Avalon Marshes was another highlight, followed by a relaxing afternoon of delicious cake, tea, and coffee. 🍰☕

One of the most heartwarming moments was welcoming four generations of the Webb family together. Seeing the smiles as they held Great-Grandma's hand and walked her into lunch was truly special. ❤️

Life at Beaufort House is vibrant, full of laughter, friendship, and wonderful memories. There's never a dull moment! 💙
