Shoe life, a question I’m often asked about. I’ve had shoes last 2,000 miles and some last 300 miles. The truth is, your legs will let you know when a shoe is due to retire. Shoes feel flat, legs can fatigue on runs, and if you’re unfortunate, it can start to cause a ni**le or injury.

Shoe rotation between a few pairs is a good way of spreading wear and also gives the body variation - after all… Variation is the spice of life!

My retired shoes end up as gardening or football shoes. So it’s not goodbye… it’s see you later!
