Our residents have been having a blast with baking lately, and the results have been absolutely delicious! 😋

🍕 We hosted a "Design Your Own Pizza" day where everyone got to pick their favorite toppings for their individual sheet pan pizzas. (Let's keep the pineapple debate to a minimum, shall we? 🍍)

🍋 Our talented bakers also whipped up a scrumptious lemon drizzle cake, dividing tasks like zesting and juicing lemons, mixing the batter, and lining the cake tin. 🍰

The only hiccup? The cake was so incredibly yummy that we completely forgot to snap a photo before it disappeared! 😆

We have got creative in the kitchen as we baked a delicious cake! 👩‍🍳🧁 From mixing and measuring to the finishing touches and, of course, enjoying the final result, we had lots of fun along the way! 😋💕

The rain may have stopped us from heading outside, but it definitely didn’t stop us from having fun! 🌧️➡️🎉

We brought Sports Day indoors and filled the day with plenty of laughter, teamwork, friendly competition and lots of cheering! 🙌🏆💪

🎉 We had an incredible community celebration on Friday, July 24th, as we proudly marked our ninth consecutive ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission! 🏆

The afternoon was filled with delicious refreshments, lively entertainment, and great connections among residents, families, and staff. A special thanks to Mayor Cllr Mike Facey for joining us to celebrate this amazing milestone and recognise the hard work of our dedicated team. 🙌

A heartfelt thank you to all our residents and staff for making this Outstanding rating possible and for your invaluable help in planning the celebration. Fun was had by all! 🎈

We’re celebrating the little moments that make each day special. Today will be filled with smiles, laughter, great conversations and plenty of time spent enjoying each other’s company. 💚

Whether it’s sharing stories, joining in activities or simply having a chat with friends, Tuesdays are always a chance to create more happy memories together.

🎨🪨 Creativity was flowing as our residents enjoyed an afternoon of stone painting!

From choosing their own unique designs to carefully painting each stone, everyone had the opportunity to express their creativity and add their own personal touch. There were plenty of smiles, great conversations and lots of colourful creations to admire.

Activities like these are a wonderful way to encourage imagination, relaxation and time spent together, with every finished stone telling its own little story.

We can't wait to find the perfect place to display these beautiful works of art! 💚

🎾🍓 Game, set, match! What fantastic fun celebrating Wimbledon!

Our team got into the spirit by wearing their favourite sportswear for our Wear Your Sports Clothes to Work Day, helping to create a fun and lively atmosphere for everyone.

Our Wimbledon trolley was a huge hit, with residents enjoying delicious strawberries and cream or a fresh scone with cream and jam, all served with a glass of Buck's Fizz for an extra touch of celebration. 🥂

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with smiles, great conversation and plenty of Wimbledon spirit!

A big thank you to Blossom for visiting us and delivering beautiful handmade flowers for our residents. 💐 Their thoughtful creations brought lots of smiles and brightened everyone's day.

The fun didn't stop there – they also joined us for a drumming session, where we enjoyed making music together, sharing plenty of laughter, and creating some wonderful memories.

Thank you, Blossom, for such a lovely visit. We can't wait to welcome you back again soon! ❤️
